This is the hymn of the Boys’ Brigade in the UK, an organisation in which my husband and I were Junior Section officers for 14 and 11 years respectively. Without being too facetious I think I joined so I could sing this song wholeheartedly many times. 👍 The work of introducing 8-11 year old boys to the life to be lived through our Saviour, sometimes for the first time in a boy’s life, was a joy. It is still close to my heart.

2025 is said by many Bible scholars across a wide range of denominations, to bring in the prophesied 7 years of hell on earth, (see Revelation from chapter 6 onward,) called the great Tribulation. This period of time, Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24. We will need our hold to be firm in Him during that time. Also to not worship the "beast" and to not take the "mark" which God strongly warns us against in Revelation 13 and 14. We will need to be "faithful unto death."
Glory to God
He clearly loved the Lord. However the worship is not Biblical and appeals to the flesh. The church needs to return to the manual of praise that the Lord has given ot, the book of Psalms with no instrumental music. That is what was good enough for the Old Testament church as in the synagogue (separate from the temple worship). It was good enough for the Saviour and it's the pattern we have.
Ya it's a lovely thought sadly today there is very few play the Biblical instruments in churches or know how to for that matter like the Tambourines, Cymbals, Bells, Trumpets, Reed-Pipes & the Harp though the grand piano is technically a harp only on its side with a different sting attached.
