From Chennai. Went to Ferragamo stores during my recent US trip and I don’t get EEE shoes. Getting a shoe is always a pain and was wondering if someone can make custom shoes with great care and quality. I hope to visit the store soon to check if I can get a custom shoe!

Just picked up my first pair and I love them. Beautiful shoes, excellent customer service and very knowledgeable staff. Looking forward to getting another pair soon.

So many people talking about using knifes to score new leather soles and other destructive things! Took me 3 minutes out on the driveway to "scuff" up the soles of my new shoes. So, very good advise!!

Such elegant shoes! I have been wearing a pair of black punch toe Oxfords for the last six months and it has certainly elevated my style. Some of these shoes do take some time to break in. In my experience it took about 4 months to completely adapt to my feet. I wear them 3 to 4 times a week. Time taken for the breaking in period is subjective. Once broken in, the comfort you feel is something one has to experience for themselves. Now I take every opportunity I can to wear mine. The only limitation now for me is the colour. A second pair in brown will be a nice addition to bring in the much needed rotation and can open up more trousers colour choices. Thank you, Bridlen!

Had a folded penny loafer with button rubber sole for almost three years. You should not discontinue button rubber sole Afsan bhai. Other rubber sole designs were not that remarkable

Almost fell the other day. But the sound of a leather sole is pure satisfaction. Rubber soles don't even come close.

Your videos demonstrate a passion for shoe design and construction! Also, i get the distinct impression that a drive for perfection is the end goal! With this in mind, i recently ordered a pair of your shoes to sample the workmanship! As soon as they arrive, i may order several more pairs! There are all types of rubber soles. I find some of them are much more comfortable than leather - almost like sneakers. Also working in NYC I have plenty of rain, snow and ice. Not to mention walking into the lobby of a building or airport with wet shoes - you want traction.

What about German JR soles? You don’t have them? They are the perhaps the best.

Amazing story. I guess Bridlen factory in Chennai also manufactures shoes for Loake, a British Kettering Northamptonshire brand. It is one of the prestigious brand in UK and also has a royal warrant.
