are you guys still griping over Scheifele's clean hit
I have some bad news for habs fans Cole Caufield is a 3rd line player that happens to be able to score goals he has a good scoring IQ albeit his brain goes numb in some shootouts.Cole Caufield never creates traffic in front of the net he never wins puck battles he can't protect the puck he is a VERY easy check his game outside of scoring might even be worse than third line status. What baffled me is that last year his +/- was oddly decent I was like how can such a soft player be only -4 and I had an idea how that could be so watching him closer yep I was right he doesn't back check much instead he goes to the bench. Scoring really isn't that tough at all if players had even entry level scoring IQ.I will lay out the 3-4 things get pucks to the net and NOT around the perimeter.Elevate your shots every single goalie in the NHL and everywhere else plays on their knees and often give up the short side where Cole happens to get many goals. AIM your shots yes it can still help to just get a shot on net IF you have players in front preferably 2 players.Lastly if your in too tight yes you still need to elevate your shot but you should be deking in close make the goalie move maybe he opens up the 5 hole. Last thing SELL your shot make the goalie flinch drop a shoulder give him some body movement it is called deception same idea behind what Hutson does do deke players.
Big fan of Caufield, eh?
Great to have you guys back! Your podcast/TH-cam is always a must listen and I appreciate the intelligent analysis and entertaining content.
Really appreciate the kind words! Go Habs!
You guys are back!
Yup! Excited for the season!
I have to say you guys are really good. Insightful, thoughtful and knowledgeable. You guys don't wander and stay on topic. Really professional. Great that I found this podcast.
Really appreciate it!
The Montreal Management ..is very wise ..!! Trust that they KNOW ..what they're doing. The rebuild is going well and this Habs team WILL be cup contenders for years to come .!! 😊
Absolutely!
You guys are gonna have a zillion subscribers so soon. Already my favourite Habs pod. Not close.
Aye! Really appreciate it :) Glad you enjoy it!
Good show, fellas. Just found it.
Thanks! Welcome aboard!
Imagine Demidov with Lane Hudson on the power play :--)
Absolutely incredible options for PP1 in the next few years
Keep it up
Will do!
Porcelain Dach to center Demidov is a disgrace. Barely avg 1/2 pt a game. Habs need to get rid of Gally, Anderson, armia and Dvorak if they believe in the future. Beck, Ferrell & Roy need to be part of the team asap to replace the old heads. Giving a big contract to Guhle would be a huge mistake as well as Houston, Mailloux and Reinbacher will all be better then him. Management still in shambles and more likely to make bad decisions if they don’t get rid of the vets that won’t be there for the next cup run.
This comment is a disgrace. 🤮
Wow, I'll bet you really impressed some 10 year olds with this hot take. You should let Hughes know you're available to be a consultant, 🤡.
@@highdadd6526 A 10year old would know Habs are doing a poor management job and that Dach is a mediocre 2C but goofy diwn syndrome guy like you can’t
LMAO, how did an 8 year old write this entire post without any spelling mistakes? Mommy or Daddy help you out?
Slaf dach ivan D
Slaf suz ivan on the first line

@@edouard_97 thats a scary line tbh
