I can only do about one of these ones a week. Mostly because it takes me more attempts than I care to admit. They really turned the difficulty up with these challenges.

There was a reason I picked the unorthodox build for this one. Those roots are starting to piss me off in Hollow Bough!

If you can get a decent weapon to 18, you'll normally be ok. Experimental Plasma Charger with the split is really quite good.

I'm normally so good at mushroom and flower collection. The 10 deep dives though, the focus, it just goes when the screen is all XP.

I know right, I think with ALL the blocks mined you could double or triple that hit :(

Cat would probably do more kinetic damage to the bugs. Saturday has been and gone, it's now, 06:00 on Sunday. Coffee is going down well, world news... world newsing...

Actually fell asleep during daylight and woke up when it was still dark. So going to pre-emptively give this one a 4/10. How bout you?

@@FswithFarham Yea i normally get up everyday between 0400 and 0600, but even then i cant sleep during the day. i know if i fall asleep during the day im boned trying to go asleep. Friday was good and Saturday just started got up at 0400 so catching up on the video

They sure do, still not as funny as the Experimental Plasma Chargers OCs, but they'll do.

I just checked it with reload speed on the Shard Diffractor. I took two cards, one 6% all reload speed, and one 15% reload speed on the shard difractor. Calculation shows; 4.00/((1 *121%) * 124%) So the two cards are additive with each other, but the meta, artefacts and overclocks will each multiple individually. I don't think the stat breakdown looks correct on the weapon page now you've mentioned it.... Shouldn't it be (Base * (Skill+Flat)) * Meta * Overclock * Artifact?

@@FswithFarham Ah, ok, so I mised up icons. Sad :( Game is generally very bad at information - doesn't show what types of damage do, what "potency" is, and those icons are not shown anywhere outside of formulas so they mean nothing for me. Shouldn've checked better

I think that was the previous video, this one was just all balls. But yes, you can get really high levels on the 10 deep dives :D

Highest I've now seen is a 224 (not me!) Think there is about 10 minutes of stage dragging out that could be done. One to revisit for sure.

@@FswithFarham Can you get multiple "+3 levels" artifacts? If yes, it might be more beneficial on the last 3-4 stages considering your bonus xp. Btw, I had no idea this artifact is affected by xp multipliers. Having +500% xp basically means it gives you 15 levels :) And also, you can't get more than 3 same arficats (like xp from mining)?

@@Jack_Not_Black can only get one +3 level artifact. You can only get 3 of each scanner, but I think you can get unlimited red sugar cubes.

Ah is that how it works. So with a massive pick up range on 10 dives that's why I'm noticing "weirdness". Nice one, thanks for clarifying that.

On this video I'm sure we just killed shredder drones. But if you were on a bug video then bounced here, the infinite time glitch is indeed fixed

Oo, that's not a card game I have played. I have heard lots about it, and of course it gets youtube videos about it all the time. Mostly people trying to steal super expensive cards from tournaments and doing weird draws to get the most expensive cards when they shouldn't and such. That's the extent of knowledge.

Yea I’ve been playing since Magic’s release in like 1993. I’ve been to local tournaments and many many game night, and never seen anyone try to steal cards from individuals. However I have seen them attempt to steal from shops. I stopped playing in 2004 after joining the Army, and started back around 2021 playing Commander. Commander is a lot more chill and relaxed, but still competitive

@@togwilson Yeah they should have come in Update 03. Should see 3 lines of meta upgrades and they're the bottom right. If you're not seeing that it sounds like maybe you have auto-updates paused in steam or similar?

@@FswithFarham they need add new artifact to gain bonus exp from minion kills. minion kills barely give any levels in this run than this level cap will rise.

I am afraid so. They called me out in the patch notes for bug abuse. :(

You can overcrit. So if you had 100% crit and 300% multi you'd get 3x the damage. If you get your crit to 200% the you get 6x the damage. So the crit and crit damage multiply each other, is how you get the silliest of numbers.

Someone on the server is convinced the game breaks at around 41m per shot.

I think you're right. Gives 3 levels. Has about 700% xp. Levels flatten out at about 100 and I think we got a bonus 21 levels as soon as xp was gathered. It's a take late artifact when stacking xp.

@@FswithFarham I'd have to see the source code to really confirm it, but with those numbers? Yeah, sounds about right. Logic checks out.

There is an auto-run feature which walks you into the pod when you cross a threshold up the ramp. If your movement speed is negative, you walk backwards instead, as such I think the pod is coded to just press "Forward" and doesn't calculate that forwards is backwards. So it spits you across the map in a hilarious manner. I think it'll spit you further the more Nitra you have too... I would like to get my dorf spat off the map if the game will allow it.

@@bakakun Hah! That would be an amazing anti-cheat mechanism. Any doctoring to any files, sets a thing and bam, yeeted out the pod you go. You know the official discord has a feature suggestion bit? :P

I have it, but I have not played it much. I'm scared to translate my message back in case it comes out as something completely different.

Did I skip them for anything particular? Reload speed is normally up there for the M1000, it's only fire rate I tend to ignore.

@@mishaoblepiha4924 Ah that makes sense. Yes I'd normally favour the reload speed, but, had to get the biggest hits so if I was comfortable at that time I'd have just picked up any damage to get number bigger. :)

I've found if I don't get the secondary by about half way through the missions I do just ignore them.

1800s style blast mining is the way forwards.

I swear this happens maybe 1/20 times as it's already happened to me more times than I can count. I don't think from a golden loot bug yet though.

Is the mastery missions, the drop pod lands on about 5-10% of the entire map and there is always a huulu hoarder. 1/20 feels about right. :)

This one is really hard. The shotgun makes it a bit easier. Other classes I was failing a lot.

Yep, I think the forward firing rapid shot shotgun just keeps you safe at all times (pretty much) and it's always shooting, downtime for reloads is when the bugs get you!

Haha, three times you say. Not seen many people post about doing these runs. They're absolutely brutal. The fun came from it being finally over!

@@FswithFarham I am aware that sometimes you post a failed mission, bearing that in mind the tension on the first viewing was immense, much the same as TheSaltySailfish mentioned! The second viewing was just for fun and the third was to look for the Huuly hoarder as mentioned by datwillie!😃

I also found the Hoarder, it was just sitting there for ages bottom left. Glad the hardcore run was a good watch, definitely fun to play, but I fear it may need some tweaks to make it a bit less frustrating. Being able to see an outline of bugs hiding behind walls would be a huge help to people I'm sure. Or starting with the dodge trinket that gives you dodge while moving, just so there is some luck on your side... Not sure there, one of the above, both...

Wasn't a complaint. Was trying to keep it low so I could spend longer on the floors for more xp. Perhaps that point was missed, I'll be clearer next time.
