@@diegoeste14 thanks man, appreciate that. I think this will work for one-handers who play a certain style. If you’re a true baseliner with a OHB, yes. If you’re a supremely attacking player who puts a premium on feel, I’d look at the strike 98 16x19, blade pro 16x19, gravity tour 98, or other options with better feel in the stringbed. Totally agreed on the balance between spin and power. Very nice combination of both, which is why I think so many pros have found a way to use this one (Nishikori & Kvitova come to mind). I’ll always keep one around, sweet hitting experience

Yup it’s quite anemic in stock form. I think they tried to make it a platform frame, but not sure many consumers think that way when they buy a frame

You probably needed to add weight to the handle, not so much the tip. My Pro Staff 97 gave me severe shoulder pain in stock form. After adding 20 grams of silicone to the handle, the shoulder pain disappeared and it was one of the most comfortable racquets I played with.

@@goldencalf5144 I traded a Pro Kennex Black Ace 300 for the VS with a very good friend. He also had added lead in the hoop, but I tried it in stock form. It was a time a was testing lots of rackets and finally stuck with the Diadem Elevate V3 and the Pro Kennex Ki 5 195. The Elevate was a better fit for me, also 16x20. The VS was the most beautiful racket though.

I have three and one must have been from a strange paint batch because where the other two are a dark carbon color, the third is gunmetal grey. Also it's rumored that pure strikes are going to get a grey PJ release this year

so interesting you have a third that looks different. I wonder if Babolat would replace. & can confirm rumors of a new grey paint scheme, hope that drops on this mold too

I understand your perspective man. That’s why we should all be honest with ourselves as to why we play tennis. These days I play for the sensation of hitting the ball & that makes hits like the PC 2.0 a great experience for me. Even if you’re competing and using it makes you happy/enjoy tennis, I say follow that intuition. Long live the prestige, cheers bro

blade mold has sharper edge around the throat and more generally a different beam design. Blade Pro Wilson Pro Labs the closest thing to h22. I'll review the blade pro at some point

I think it’s up there man as one of the best frames ever. 6 singles majors won with this mold. & beam width is 20mm straight beam!

Alright so here’s where I fall here. It was 65-66 RA average stiffness when it dropped in 2010. That’s high for a prestige yes, but it is low relative to the other frames in the market at the time (PD, APD, etc). Any prestige has a certain amount of butter IMHO, could be a little sliver (graphene 1.0) or that whole damn stick (PT57A)
