Coffee Dyed Paper - Oven Dried vs Air Dried

I show you how to oven dry and air dry coffee dyed paper for your junk journals. My preference is the oven dried method. This is all new to me so here’s my stupud question. Is this oiled paper only good for background paper, or can you actually use stickers AND INK? It would seem to me that the oil has now created a complete barrier.
Baby oil smells so much better
Excellent tutorial! Thank You so much!
Did you make the part 2 video on using this paper? I can’t find it.
Thank you for the freebies!
I have some coconut oil that’s about to expire. Now I know what to do with it!
Fantastic idea thank you for sharing ❤
Is this digital printed on copy paper?
Thank you…I noticed this was made 3 years ago - can you let me know how to see Part 2?
I was going to ask same thing Would like to see Part 2
Clever!
Loved your video, very informative and the papers came out really beautiful, especially the printables. Thank you for the free gift, I can't wait to use them. Keep up the great work. Thumbs up for you!! 😉
I am afraid of turning rancid the paper after time. It is good idea but it is not practical. Almost all of the oils turn rancid after time.
Very pretty but I always have a problem with that type of vellum is that eventually the oil/lotion comes off on other papers. It also doesn't work well with glue. I prefer Nik the Booksmith's spray clear sealer on each side of the paper. No oil stains/residue, works with all liquid glue, and even goes through the printer. In essence, the paper is just like paper but it's translucent - VOILA! You could do reams and reams of paper per can of spray, too. TFS your lovely creations.
Thank you for this tutorial 😊
Your having problems with the website and the free image for this link, I subscribed to your website but it's not allowing me to get the image download.
What happened to Part two .now I have to find someone else
Thank you so very much for this great tutorial, it was a huge success.......love your channel🙂
Wow, thank you for sharing such a great idea, can't wait to try tomorrow. Thank you for the freebies as well. Loving your channel😍
This is awesome and thank you for the access to freebies!
Mine still bleeds oil
OMG! Thank you so much for this tutorial, I finally found a way to make miniature stained glass cheap whit materials I already have. One question though is there any risk for the ink to bleed when applying oil on the printed side?
Vou usar óleo de coco ! I will use coconut oil! Is quite used in my country ! (Brazil )
Great tutorial. Live this so much
How much is it to be in the club? Thanks
Did you ever make a part 2? I couldn't find it on your channel.
Does this technique work on cardstock? I have some pre-printed cardstock pages that would look better as vellum.
First time viewer.....your voice is so soothing....
I enjoy the video, my Momm is from Panama City Panama and she show me how to make vellum paper with coconut oil for my school art. Now I’m 53 years old and this brings back memories. Thank you.
That’s great
baby oil is mineral oil, which will not go rancid. It does have a scent, so you may find that a problem. You can buy plain mineral oil, but it's pricy.
HI Just yesterday I was looking at purchasing some printed Vellum, which were 5 dollars a sheet, here in Melbourne Australia... and to find this has saved me so much money that can be used for other things. Thank you so much.
I love this. WOW I never knew this could be so easy to do. Thank you, Chris.
vid could be 5 mins instead of 17
WELL YOU COULD JUST HAVE FAST FORWARDED IT.!
Yup i had to foward it or sped up. She could have done a time skip or speed up when she was doing the swabbing without the chitchat
Oh my god!! This is just magical! I’ve been struggling with printing on Vellum paper for weeks now…I try this….instant …I can’t believe it!! Thx u soooooo much for this❤❤❤❤❤!
Not all vellum is thin. Depends on the weight. Thanks for this.
Thanks for sharing its so fun to try something new
I'm having a bit of an issue with mineral oil not drying. I've had it aired out for a few days now and when I try to incorporate it with my other papers, the oil contaminates everything. I've tried pressing it between other card boards and something heavy, but then it starts to lose its translucency and it looks a bit like normal paper again with just a hint of image showing through. Should I just leave it out longer? Or am I missing a step?
Baby Oil @ Solar tree is $1.25 a bottle!
Dollar tree!
I love it! Thank you for the freebies. I am subscribed, liked, alarmed.
Maybe the crinkly book pages would work better?

Hi, thank you for this video. May i know what are the exact minutes the paper in the oven dried?
Thank you ! I just tried it on the downloads and its amazing! Still waiting for it to dry, but I also made some reduced sizes of the pretty flower one!
Thx some much for your easy way of explaining how to do this. Great! I’m now a member of your craftspace. Greetz from Holland
Thx so much !! Love that flower paper, gorgious 👍
Another new thing to try, love it, ty
Great tutorial, tried yesterday, so fun!
Great video! I will probably buy oil from the dollar tree store. Awesome video!

Hi Maggie. I watched all your videos and have enjoyed them very much. I see you haven't posted anything for 6 months and was wondering if you're still doing the ephemera swap? I'd like to join this group but I don't seem to be able to gain access. I live in the same part of the Bay Area as you and hope you're doing well. take care ~~rita p.s. I wrote this message here because I couldn't locate an email or a blog for you.
