I would like an explanation of why the Church is STILL forbidding people to bathe at Lourdes? I am going in September, and in my research, I've just found out that they've replaced bathing with a 'water gesture,' which involves drinking some water, washing your face in it, and having someone pour some water on your hands (not on the head, even, the HANDS) three times. Some new nonsense brought to us by the same people who banned the Mass, forbade people to receive the Eucharist, and left people to die without the last sacraments because they were so afraid of getting sick, they forgot to fear God. SO DISAPPOINTED in the Church - AGAIN. This is why Mary appears to the simple and to children, not to bishops, popes and theologians. She knows that the simple folk have REAL FAITH and the 'authorities' do not. My French friends tell me that the time of Covid restrictions and required innoculations against Covid are 'long past' in France. I need not worry about masking or anything else. Until I get to Lourdes, a place of FAITH, and find that even in a place created by popular piety, the prelates have done their soul-crushing work of forbidding the traditional bathing.

Thank you Marlene for the opportunity to serve as a volunteer last year. I went to serve the VIPs and of course spend time at The Sanctuary. So true, what St. Francis of Assisi said... It is in giving that we receive! I received more from volunteering that I thought would be possible. Oh yes, and I did receive a miracle. A doctor told me I was not allowed to kneel due to arthritis on the knees. I ignored their recommendation and knelt only on my left knee; it was too painful to kneel or genuflect on my right knee. I now genuflect and kneel on both knees without any pain - Praise God!
