My name is Isaac, I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota and do my best to make the most of the area we live! I have been making videos for a few years, which the older ones were made with an Ipod nano, and then eventually a GoPro Hero 3, a Hero 5. But now I have been making the most recent videos with a GoPro Hero7 and a Sony A6400.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy!

Backpacking with a 2-year old
Reuben's first big overnight backpacking trip! Also a lot is videoed from his perspective!
Camping up on "Bob's Mountain" what our friends used to call it when we would hike up it and even camp out when we were kids!
Keys to make it a successful trip! Keep it simple, bring what your child needs, a couple toys.

Blacktooth to Blacktooth (Highlights)
มุมมอง 352 หลายเดือนก่อน
The Blacktooth Challenge nearly a myth, starts in Sheridan, Wyoming at Blacktooth Brewing and travels roughly 40 miles, to get to the top of Blacktooth Mountain at 13,007 feet. 28 extremely rough miles on bike with over 5,700 feet of gain, to get to the trailhead to hike/trail run another 12 miles. Then all back down as fast as possible!
Blacktooth Redemption
มุมมอง 1504 หลายเดือนก่อน
Blacktooth to Blacktooth challenge is something on the edge of myth, people even within the town of Sheridan hardly know about it. I have not personally met anyone who has done it, nor have I found any posts online about it. According to what I've heard, you start in Sheridan, Wyoming at the Blacktooth Brewery; the halfway point is roughly 40 miles away and over 10,000 feet higher at the summit...
Bike Bus
มุมมอง 805 หลายเดือนก่อน
The Bike Bus is a way to get students to school in the mornings in a fun exciting way! The students are physically active, excited in the way to traveling to school, and so excited to start the day with their friends! We ended the 23-24 school year by doing two "Bike Bus" days, both were on Thursdays, it gave the kids something to look forward to all week long! We will be continuing the Bike Bu...
Black Elk Peak-nic RND 5
มุมมอง 455 หลายเดือนก่อน
Black Elk Peak-nic is a mountain triathlon that I created a couple of years ago! It is a combination of bike, swim, trailrun, swim, bike in that order. The crux is the trailrun and you make your way up to South Dakota's highest point, Black Elk Peak (hence the name) at 7,242 ft above sea level. I did have 3 people join this year, they were doing it for fun and for training for an upcoming Grand...

The Games happen in early June, we have attended 3 times now and will be coming back for more without a doubt! You can take in so many different mountain activities and even compete, I was happy to com...
Calvin 2 7
มุมมอง 417 หลายเดือนก่อน
Calvin 2.7 is the replacement to my original truck, a 2004 F-150 that I called Calvin, the new Calvin is a 2021 Ford F-150 XLT that was an insurance total because it was rear-ended as a basically brand new truck. It only had1,459 miles when I bought, and just needed cosmetic fixes on the bed, and the passenger doors. It is a work in progress even now. There will be more videos to follow on othe...
5th Grade Ski Trip '24
มุมมอง 10310 หลายเดือนก่อน
Annual 5th grade ski trip up to Terry Peak! Had a blast of a day, the kids had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed it! The weather was pretty good, the snow was decent, so all in all a great day to learn. 38 of the 43 students were beginners that had "never ever" skied before!

Hay p man this is jaxon
@@YsgejHegdjdh hi Jaxon!
Damn yall changed a lot in 11 years I just wanted to checkout a ringtone 😭
What's up with the bedsides
I bought the truck as an insurance total, because it had been rear-ended and the passenger side was crumpled... so rebuilt that side in my own way.
Might be able to find a salvage/take off box for it. And many other salvage parts from local yards. Some on the East side of SD are Nordstroms, Lem’s in Doon Iowa , Oakleaf. Nordstroms can search other yards for part and have them delivered.
That's funny you say Nordatroms, because that's where I got it from! Yea I might get a box, but I'd eventually like to make it n a flatbed and then make a camper that can slide on and off pretty easily!
@@caasisnosrap6374 cool project. I’m in the insurance business and Nordstroms buys all the vehicles that we total on claims. I’m from SFalls. Do an 8 over 7 bike pack trip next week out your way.
@@lancesmith1970 ok nice, that's awesome! The 8 over 7 is something I've wanted to do for a long time! Very cool!
So Cool... Indoor pickleball on a cold day! You should use the side walls as legal shot. Kind of like ATP but opposite. Be careful not to hit those fuelososent lights they can explode.
Little Man knows what time it is. 💯👍🍻✌🏽
My son and I just did a trip to the Wind River Range in September, and a good deal of the time we were over 10000 feet. We had not been over 8000 in about 4 years, but we gave ourselves no time to adjust to the altitude . We had done quite a bit of climbing and hiking in the past at over 10000 feet and even up to 14000 so I thought that it would be not problem. Well, the first day I was good as we hiked out 12 miles up to about 10300, but I did drink 5 liters of water. The second day we got up to 11400 and I drink only about 2 liters, and that day really kicked my butt. We only made it 8 miles that day, and I learned 2 lessons when coming from an elevation of 600 feet . First, give yourself at least two days to adjust to the altitude . Second, make sure that you are drinking at least 5 liters or more of water per day. Altitude sickness can affect anyone no matter how good their fitness level. Good video.
You're right it can affect just about anyone. Drinking water is key and paying attention to how you feel.
Very cool. What are the dimensions?
What did y'all eat? How did you sleep? Good? Warm?
Yea stayed decently warm for it being a mid-20 degree night. We were roatripping so we didn't have any special food.

Why don't people like this just become Truckdrivers?
Very cool. Memories forever ❤️
Is there a child in there?
Yep, a little guy, 18 months and he absolutely loves camping!
brrr no thanks. i lived in travel trailers most of my life. i like heat.
You need to fire whoever did the welds on that bed. Those are the ugliest thing I have seen in years.
I hope you got some sheet metal under that plastic ammo can
great for the woods, but one trip to walmart and after your shopping was done youd come out to everything being stolen off your truck. great ammo can though! I have one I keep my 7.62x54r ammo in.
Storage for ammo i hope
I wish i could do this without my car instantly being broken into lol. Rock that shit!

Yea just a couple of other states. Wyoming and South Dakota.

That's pretty neat! Thanks for sharing! What type of GoPro do you use?
Thanks Elijas, this one is a Hero7 Black, but I recently got the Hero10! So hopefully I'll put out some new clips from that one!
Thanks!
what was the name of the place that you climed.
We climbed in Tensleep Canyon, the wall was Dreamland.
Granite is a beast! Well done! I’ll subscribe! Keep climbing 💪🏼
Thanks David, I appreciate it. You're right, Granite is a super tough one!
Great video! I enjoyed watching your attempt. Out of curiosity, what time was it when you decided to turn around?
Hey thanks man! Are you the one that has the video with Sheridan chamber of commerce of the Challenge? We got to the base of Blacktooth at a decent time, like 12, but our pace really slowed as we climbed and we turned around about 1:30, we were feeling completely exhausted, beat down, and like it was getting too late, but we probably could've pushed it and made it (after looking back at it).
Awesome! Thanks for this video!
