please do not graffiti all over an original helmet cover….
and get a accurate helmet band
The helmet band is accurate. It’s a USMC “inner tube” band. Also, I’m sure that isn’t an original helmet cover. Whenever a repro is used a lot, it can end up like that.

It’s too bad you can’t find new generators for the peak 1 stoves. I have one and it’s junk. It’s impossible to clean the generators on those.

I think it’s just for if you’re only wearing your liner and to keep the helmet on the liner
Well it is a chin strap but it also helps to keep the liner connected
