Lodi, California Winery Harvest Host Tour! #rvlife #harvesthosts #lodi
We spent 3 nights at 3 different wineries in Lodi, California through the Harvest Hosts program. This is glamping at it's best! Where else can you go wine tasting and walk mere minutes to your camper which is parked next to beautiful vineyards? We enjoyed exploring 3 wineries: Jessie's Grove, Klinker Brick, and Harmony Wynelands. Check it out!

What month did you go? I see tshirts. We went in Aug 22 and was cold.
@@arnettaalbert153 Hi 👋🏻 We went in late June. We got so lucky with the weather. Thanks for watching!
Hope all is well! Haven’t seen any trips in awhile?
Thanks for watching! We’ve been home bound lately but getting ready for a great trip in a couple weeks. Stay tuned! 😊
Got an Alaska Cruise booked for May 2025 on the Ruby Princess with an Aft Facing Balcony. It's my first Alaskan cruise and I'm super excited. Thanks for the video!
@@Ddrews-nf4gq Thanks for watching and have a great trip! We had such an amazing time. It’s the best way to see Alaska!
I loved this video! So we’ll out together!! Makes me excited to try out more Harvest Hosts!
What a nice trip. And great work producing these videos. I appreciate the way you film and edit. 😊
Thanks for watching and for the positive vibes!
Camp Eddy is a great new campground in Grand Junction! Unfortunately our 72' (coach+car hauler) doesn't fit too well. We've also stayed at the James Robb - Fruita state park campground, excellent spot and also right on the trail. The Camp Eddy location gives you excellent access to all the vineyards and wineries of Palisade if you enjoy that sort of thing, we always see a lot of people biking between the wineries.
Thanks for watching! We missed going to Palisade this time....great to have a reason to return!
colorado is a nice state to be from.
We want to return and see more of that beautiful state!
Look like a lot of fun all couples .
Wow Mike! Great vid on the mountain bike ride...I think I unclipped about six times sitting in my chair just watching you manage the narrow chunkies!
LOL! Thanks, it was really fun! There are a few other mountain bike parks in the area (including Fruita).
Hey CA peeps, great video touching on Grand Junction... 21 years ago I moved from Kansas City to Grand Junction, purchased a house near the University, lived and worked there for 11 years. Rented out my house and move to NORCAL, Bay Area and have been working living here for 10 years. Looking forward to retirement in 2025 and moving back to Grand Junction... so many things to do there year round. Really enjoyed seeing the footage you captured.
We're in NorCal too, Sonoma County. Thanks for reaching out and the positive vibes! Enjoy retirement and returning to Grand Junction....great place to retire!
what a super fun short!!!!
Great video! I am checking out Grand Junction to see if it might work for us this coming summer. We will be in Joseph, OR and then hope to go to Steamboat Springs, CO.
So many choices in Colorado! We enjoyed GJ and left with still more on the list we didn't do. I've heard great things about Steamboat Springs too! Enjoy your travels!
Great!
What a place my friend! Fantastic rock formations, overall scenery is absolutely stunning!!!
@@ervinslens Thanks for the positive vibes! 🩷
What a great video! I think this is our favorite trip so far. So fun watching! Thank you!!

Bryce Canyon it is so beautiful, my favorite location to visit

Thanks for the positive vibes!
I had a friend who grew up in Gualala. She corrected my pronunciation. How do you pronounce gualala? The town of Gualala - pronounced Wah-lah-lah, a Spanish version of the Pomo Indian word Walali "meeting of the waters"
What site #Did you have?
Great tour of Newberry!
Thanks for visiting our channel and for posting a comment!
Every time I hear about people biking this they are only doing it in that one or two day window when it’s open to bikes but not cars. I plan to bike this road in June and my guess is I will be sharing the road with cars. How bad is the traffic. My dad drove this a week ago and said it was really not bike friendly. I am pretty determined to bike this. How safe is this when there is also traffic? The only stories I read are of bikes doing this in the window when it’s still closed to traffic and that has me a bit concerned
Hi George, We enjoyed our ride up Tioga Pass from Lee Vining (plus a few miles into Yosemite NP)....that being said, I think the real beauty is once you pass through the gates into Yosemite NP. By June that road should be open but it's never certain, we just got lucky! Going up from Lee Vining to the entrance was not closed to cars but there was less traffic due to the entrance being closed to vehicles. I didn't feel unsafe riding that portion. Several cars passed us because the more popular thing to do is to park just outside of the entrance and ride in and beyond (the part that's closed to vehicles). Are you planning on riding the entire Tioga Pass through Yosemite? With cars, that portion might be a little sketchy...it all depends on your comfort level with cars. We've driven that road and it's windy and no shoulder so difficult for cars to see you. I'm sure there are other videos that cover the part of the road inside the park. Also, here's a link to our friend's website that describes the part of Tioga Pass that we did: pjammcycling.com/climb/796.Tioga%2520Pass. I hope I've answered your question and good luck and have fun!
Thanks for the response. Ideally yes I would like to bike all the way from Lee Vining to Yosemite National Park. That said it sounds like the reallly scary part of this for traffic is around Yosemite but it’s less scary on the Lee Vining side. I am biking across the country in sections. This coming June (2025) I plan to do my fourth and final section from Baker Nevada to Half Moon Bay California and Tioga Road is on there. That said I consider walking (hiking) to be “doing it” as well. As long as it’s man-powered it counts. The compromise plan would be to start around 4am in Lee Vining and make the climb before the traffic hits. Then at the trailhead (about halfway and after the big climb) have my dad drive my bike to Yosemite Valley while I cut the corner on foot and hike from Tioga Road to Clouds Rest, picking up the bike again in Yosemite Valley. Planning to take a rest day in Yosemite before making the last 228 miles west to the Pacific after. I figured last week of June Tioga Road should be open and yet it’s still early enough in the season to have good waterfalls in Yosemite Valley
Wow! That sounds like an incredible trip, no matter how you do it! Have a great time!
Thank you for this video…great recommendations. You guys looks Amazing! 🥰
How’s the homeless for you camping in ca, I live in California I own a 32rls alliance and you won’t find me camping in California thank you Gavin Newsom
Hi how much the cruise from sfo to alaska for 2 persons and canada visa needed?
Sorry for delay, didn't see this message! This cruise was a gift so I don't know the cost. Only thing about departing from SF is that there are 2 days at sea to get to the first port....so if you are ok with just cruising, it's great. If not, I'd leave from Seattle for the 7 day cruise.
@stirlingadventures906 so the Canada visa needed for this cruise ? Because stopover Victoria which is Canada
Wonderful video. I love that part of California ❤. Thank you for this.
Wow, talk about my old stomping grounds! Doesn't look the same as it did in the 60's and 70's. Memories, and I see the roads are still the same from last century!
Fabulous video!!! What a keepsake!! Oh the funnies are hilarious!!
You’re brave to go in there.
Appreciate the review. How is road into the campsite? I heard it's very narrow.
Thanks for the positive vibes! Yes, the road is a bit narrow as you turn off the main road toward the campground but we tow a 24’ trailer and had no problem. You can see ahead and if no one is coming you can take up the road during turns. We went during the week and it was completely clear.
Great video Christine!! What an amazing trip, wish I could have stayed longer.
Love the video!!! You truly captured all of the fabulous feels! Makes me want to go back already! 🥰
Hi, how long is the walk from campground to June lake?
It was about 10 minutes. Longer if you’re in the upper campground. Doable but if you’re carrying lots of things, it might be hard. We loved the beach at June Lake. Such stunning views! Have fun!
Really appreciate this review
Great video!! So fun and helpful, I love it!
New subscriber ❤
The Narrows are about 10 miles away from me. Small world.
Pa·sow Row·blez.. 😂
LOL! I was wondering if I got it wrong! I've heard it both ways so....Jeez!
Yes, kindly & respectfully to the creators of this awesome video, the pronunciation is “row-blez” -CA native 😊
Ak! I wish I could do a re-do! Thanks for watching :)
whats the name of the trail going to the waterfalls?
That was Rush Creek trail to Agnew Lake. It was really cool! Check it out if you can, especially in the spring when the snow is melting.
@@stirlingadventures906 we’ll be there next week! thank you!
That drink looks amazing!!
You guys look so cute together and happy. Wonderfull footage. I'm re locating to the area in Sept. I'm looking forward to exploring these trails.......
Thanks for the positive vibes! Enjoy your transition and exploring the area!
We try to go to the Sun Outdoors resort in Paso Robles once a year. Always watching for the discounts. Our favorite spots are the ones in the lower area too. It's so quiet there. If you ever get to Cambria, check out Robins for their Salmon Bisque.
So funny that we seem to go to the same places! Thanks for the tip on Cambria! Salmon Bisque sounds amazing!
Love it. About 40 years ago, I saw a bicycle tourist near the top with flip flops on. I never forgot it. Two years ago, I did it touring with shoes of course. I just kept the gear low and went slow. If you think about it ten years from now, your two faces will have the same smile as the beginning of your video. Thanks.
Great ride...and we just did Glacier Point Road before the opened to cars...it was even better! That video will post in a week or so...if you get the opportunity, do it!
I’ll be staying at LOTS’s 5/9/24 thru 5/23. I’ve never stayed at this park and I definitely want cell phone service. If you don’t mind could you tell me your site # you stayed at during your visit. I can’t wait to visit and explore the old towns around there; and 1849 brewery. I use assistive equipment to help me get around so unfortunately I cannot go to the mine. But that and the closed sane asylum looked like great adventures. Thanks for sharing your stay. I’m looking g forward to mine. Happy Trails to you.
Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks! We stayed in D Section. Both I and D sections are up above and have decent cell reception. Anything down from there will be bad unless you have starlink. The lake opens soon, I heard so hopefully you can enjoy that! Have fun!
Great video, thank you! I was wondering what is the book you had stamped?
Thank you! That book is a National Park Passport and I got mine at Amazon but I think they’re less expensive here: shop.americasnationalparks.org/store/category/30/278/Passport-Books/ And, you may be able to get one at a NP Visitor’s Center. Happy traveling! ❤
I'd love to take the family riding on that bike trail at twin lakes. Do you recommend starting the bike ride at twin lakes up to horse shoe lake? We are not hard core bike riders.
I don't remember there being a shoulder so if you're comfortable riding in the street with cars, it's doable. I don't remember there being much traffic and the cars were respectful. The views are amazing from the bike, especially heading back to twin lakes.
Gorgeous. We are camping there on memorial day weekend. Is that trail kid friendly?
Hello and thank you! It's a beautiful place for sure! That trail is pretty much uphill for a couple miles so not sure if your kiddos are into that! I guess it depends on their tolerance for uphill climbs. The views are amazing and the waterfall is stunning. Hope you can get out there!
So fun I’ve been to the jail place
