Hello this is jerry eason I'm the vise president at my church our pastor will be going on a missions trip and he asked me to preach on Sunday the 29 but I have never done it before and I need help wrighting a sermon and how to prepare it please help

I've been in the ministry since 2009 and to be honest, I always had trouble with the skeleton of the sermon, listening to other vids of sermon prep did not make much sense but your video has helped me out tremendously!

If we should be wondering if women, Our Sovereign, Divine, Sisters, should have equal rights with men, all we simply, need to do is look at the m world to see what would happen if we don't. I'm virtually, 100%, convinced that the Jewish World of Prince Yeshua's time, was pretty much, identical to the m world of today, and who in their right mind, with any sense of humanity at all, would want that. What Prince Yeshua began, we must continue on.

Ok... it would be great to take your passion and perspective on this topic to other pastors and open their eyes. I think having this one lie in the doctrine that underpins the existing operational model of ,most churches has constrained the growth of the modern church. Stay with the truth at all times is what Christ would want and build with integrity. The 'offering' is a biblically aligned new covenant teaching and is a freewill offering and should be guided by the Holy Spirit. You can still regularly give like the tithe, however be bold and truthful and speak the truth...it would be great if more pastors could navigate to total truth

People prefer to tithe which is the law old testament, because is easier for them. In grace new testament, if God tells you to give the 200 you have in your pocket they start questioning the Lord if they really need to give that amount of offering and once you obey he surely will pour out blessings upon your life, in many ways not only financially. If the Pastor would be open enough to talk to Gods people that by himself the congregation can not sustain their would not be the nesecity of putting fear that ifyou don't pay your tithes you won't be blessed. I know of congregation the the pastor doesn't talk about tithes and blessing are pouring in abundance, that free will

This is a really big oversimplification! I think all this depends the preachers style. I definitely take a full manuscript to the pulpit; however I am not tied to it like I’m reading a book. It does allow me to stay on task and be sure to give my scriptural references. By the way, presenting God’s Word to the people is not akin to a debate, it is proclamation of His truths! God bless

You toon the guys notes. So i guess John should have memorized what Jesus was telling him on the isle of Patmos? Your approach was wrong just because that works for you doesn't mean thats how God will work for everyone. Of he develops the habit of writing manuscripts he will over time know how to preach from the heart but use his notes as a guide.

God gives you the diagnosis during prayer while preparing and once your spirit begins to move you see who and what’s in the room.

You prob not gonna see this but I’m gonna test if makeup is an idol for me. I always gone crazy when I have no makeup on. So I’m gonna take a few days from it to strengthen my faith so when I decide to put it on I know it is not before god and I can go without it if I find I need to. Thank you !! You can absolutely PREACH without notes. However TEACHING while PREACHING demands and requires the intentional gravitas associated with a written manuscript. Homectical prowess should never trump Hermeneutical integrity. Take notes during your sermon prep and read them out loud.
