We recently visited the Robert Louis Stevenson Collection at the Silverado Museum which is located at 1490 Library Lane in St. Helena, Napa, CA 94574. The collection contains interesting items and stories about Stevenson's life and travels. We just happened to be there on "International Talk Like a Pirate" day. This was our first visit to the Cloverdale Museum of History which is located at 215 N Cloverdale Blvd, Cloverdale, CA 95425. There is a lot of history packed into this small space including a section upstairs that is dedicated to Pomo baskets and their makers. Chanslor Ranch is located at 2660 CA Highway 1, Bodega Bay, CA 94923. The ranch is in the process of being transferred to our regional park system and parking is currently free. We hiked the Pond Trail on this visit which leads to Turtle pond with views to the north/west of Salmon Creek. This was a short and easy hike.
