10000000000%, vid quality rn is pretty good but it would be so much better with one
noice, could you try to do a 360 or a 180, that would be cool af
fast as fuk
Can I do tricks on pint x
Pint x is a great board for tricks. Bigger footpads help though
@ ok thanks
Awesome 😎❤
Well that sucks, time for a 5"?
@@nickkleminsky Time to go billet that’s for sure, whether it be 5 inch or 6 inch. Cast is not the way to go lol
Awesome video Jose! Looks like you got some wicked trails on your hand there. Curious on how you bent those rails and hub. Must have been quite an impact. Keep on pushing! 🔥
@@VinieVizzleVlog Thanks Vinie! Definitely roots galore out there 😄 I just uploaded a quick short on my channel of when it happened. Keep on shredding! 💪
My new gt can only go like 20 miles before yelling at me
Hit 31.9 today lol but nosedived and got effed.
So would you suggest installing aftermarket rails and leveling, before firmware update?
@@rogerdabbit7560 yes most definitely
Gt stock treaded compatible with XR?
@@ddkim619 The GT and XR rims (hubs) are actually different sizes. The GT is 6.5 inches vs the XR which is 6 inches. There’s plenty of better tires out there for the XR
@Alloutjose I agree but just that my stock is collecting dust lol. I may just try to fill it with tire sealant in the already installed vega since it seems like small gashes.
what’s the difference of this and single zone activation
@@noma_es_sebas Single zone activation reverts back to two zone after 1mph. Surestart allows you to keep it posi as long as you want it to

What’s 357s
@@GAMBiT_89 the type of rails I’m using. It stands for the 3.5 degree angle in the front and 7 degree angle in the back. Hence the name 357s

So if I understand, I should update from my rewheel? All I want is to stop tail dragging every god damn second… will giving up my rewheel fix that?
@@jackijackdarth1938 Tail drags are heavily reduced by custom shaping but you have to figure out what settings work best for you. The novelty to a rewheeled board is riding past 20mph without pushback comfortably.
Howwwwwww
You cot by police rip😂😂
Thanks for making this video. It really helped me better understand what gradient teacking really is and does.
Your a mad man
Nice
Yep!
Any problems while flashing the update?
@@chillout69 I didn’t have any problems. I originally had 6109 firmware beforehand
I updated my gts and gt the day it became available with no issues
@@bradleyfrank7933 what version is your onewheel app? Android or iOS?
6167?
How fast were u guys going ?
We hit past pushback a few times, which on the GTS is 25mph. My top speed so far is 32mph with the GTS.
@@Alloutjose 32!! Wow What mode/settings did you use to hit that?
Wowww
Took em long enough, can’t wait for FM to catch onto other groundbreaking innovations too, such as purchasable spare parts
Rippin.......Landsurfing Rules!
Nice shredding Jose !! So before I update with my W rails I set back to 0 degrees? Makes sense cause all my modes are at 3° nose up in 3.0 to level my board. Then when I do the upgrade, Will I still have good gradient tracking results once I set my level back to 3 degrees nose tilt?
Thanks Jose and great question! I haven’t messed with nose angle since my board was leveled out before the update. I’m curious to know how much gradient tracking works with nose angle maxed out.
And you got to keep your level. That’s awesome. -Justin
It works and I’m digging it so far! My GTS… not so much. It bricked itself randomly yesterday. 😢
Great video. I was curious about giving up the rewheel too. I’m pretty good with the way I ride and feel like only the GTS would make me better. I want to really feel the difference and not just be like it’s ok I guess. Like going from an iPhone 5 to an iPhone 15 feels like an upgrade rather than going from a 14 to a 15. I feel like you had a it’s pretty cool I guess reaction to the update. It was honest and I appreciate that. I think I’ll pass on it for now🤙🏽
Rewheel just helps top speed with no buzz, you can still get those speeds pushing through haptic. besides on trails your not averaging 25+ on segments. Why not update and have the ability to adjust tourqe and turns and how smooth either feels, have the tail drag from drops fixed and be able to climb and descend without dragging nose or tail getting yourself caught up. It’s worth the trade off of not buzzing or delayed pushback for real id update.
@@JohnCena-yu3vw I’m stoked you like the update. Every rider is different. I had the original haptic update. I wasn’t impressed so I had it rolled back and rewheeled. I hoped this new update might change my mind. If you think that’s all ReWheel does then I understand your position. Minimal changes to the ride to sacrifice repairing my board when I’m already a very good rider isn’t worth it. I don’t have issues with my riding and I would want a board to level up my skill, not compensate for the lack of it. FM has done the Trojan Horse thing to many times to those of us that have been around a while. Until I feel the update is worth it, for me, the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
@@obiwan-wheel8113 I get that perspective I’m aware rewheel does a little more then that and if your running after market battery definitely don’t update 😅 but yea man I get it you’ve got the skills down on what it’s been but riding characteristics is a game changer and helps you perform better on the trails believe it or not. Especially switching over from FM to Vesc now I feel way faster because I’ve learned that board feel from FM boards and vesc is now just giving me all the cheat codes to think less and ride hard.
Thanks for the review. Definitely seems like an overall improvement. I did notice on Flow that the board felt a little looser on stock settings so I'm playing around with the settings in the app to see what I prefer. It's probably easier to carve sharp corners now I'm just not used to it yet.
I haven’t tried flow after the update but also didn’t expect them to make that many changes. Having a more stable tire might help if you’re still on stock as well.
Dude, You are shredding! Updated mine yesterday. It really unlocked my downhill capabilities and gave me more confidence with my downhill speeds. Really feels like a new board. Can't wait for this ankle to heal up 100% Landsurfing Rules !
Awesome review
🤙🤙
awesome video bro, happy to see someone testing out the update on bonks and drops. it still seemed to have a fair amount of tail drag, I was hoping it would fully level it out. My bonks are struggling because of tail drag.
Thanks man! I’d say tail drags have been improved but not completely solved.
Thanks man, this is exactly what I was looking for. Can you tell us what your Gradient tracking settings were for this video?
I had my gradient tracking settings set to 4-5-13
With the update I feel like the nose on my board is constantly raised. I also have 357s.
Mine feels just right, did you make sure to level it to absolute zero before the update?
@@Alloutjose yes it was perfect before. now Im riding nose down at 5 lol
to compensate
Thank you for your video as always Jose. I did re-watch your GTS gradient tracking video. Really excited to see the GT got this now. Is 4-3-14 still what you are using? Or have anything changed since?
Appreciate the love! I decided to change it up after putting more miles on the GTS. My current settings for gradient tracking on the GT are 4-5-13 and it almost feels perfect.
@@Alloutjose Thank you so much, I will go adjust mine today. Any changes in base custom shaping that you like to rock with? Dynamic Response /Aggressiveness play the part a lot in tuning?
I kinda dig the motor torque ring
First to like 👍🏼
I got almost 20 miles of range on my XR with just casual riding, not bad since I had that board for 3 years.
I can do the same on my XR
Bro the performance tires are amazing. What are you talking about?
It might just be me but the performance treaded feels like a heavy bowling ball with no edge. Don’t get me wrong, it’s capable but the compound and shape are not the greatest.
try lowering your PSI. On average, people should ride with about 10% of their body weight for their PSI. For instance, if your body weight is 140 pounds, your PSI should be around 14 pounds on the street and around 7% on trails which is around 9.8 PSI. When the PSI is too high, you will feel like you're riding on a hard bowling ball with no edge that usually means that your psi is way too high. And that can be true for any tire that you buy especially the Enduro bc it is very narrow asf. Try Lowering the PSI to about 10% of your body weight on the street and 7% on trails will help you to absorb the shock from rocks and other obstacles. It will give you better Edge for sure it’s night and day.
do you like GOAT more than performance FM threaded?
I'd say both tires are great but they have different characteristics off road. The GOAT tire is lighter so it accelerates quicker but it also tends to bounce more. The performance treaded is great for its width but it lacks an edge with how rounded it is. It's feels like a heavy bowling ball. I’m still not sure which one I like more tbh 🤨 lol
@@Alloutjose I got the performance threaded and really like it overall but i feel like on some turns it just slips sometimes, just ordered a Goat tire so imma give it a try
When you return to the ramp you built in the woods 😅

thanks for vid, impressive ride. 11 miles range convinced me to buy Floatwheel for sure.
19 miles is terrible. It's a huge downgrade when the previous model got 30 miles and a waste of 1000 bucks get a gt
The GT is too slow for me now
19 miles is not good when the previous model got 30 miles. It's a huge downgrade
I agree you downgrade in range but that doesn’t mean it’s an overall downgrade
Very cool. Just got mine. Crazy you went over the pipe!
