After having started collecting about two years ago, I've truly started to appreciate the classic/aldehydic (womens) fragrances , which could be considered genderless these days. Fragrances such as Estee Lauder's Knowing, Cabochard Grès etc. I've been circling Shalimar LIKE A SHARK for weeks now, but haven't "pulled the trigger " yet. Im trying to find a sample of the edp. With Knize Ten you always have these two opinions: some call it super manly, rugged and bold and picture some rough guy in a leather jacket, while others say it’s classy, almost unisex, understated, elegant and picture an aristocratic man in a suit. I tend to go with the second opinion, considering the house that produces it sells 7000€ bespoke suits and call it “the gentleman’s fragrance” on the bottle. I think we have a hard time putting K10 into a category because it’s so far out of our time and different from current, modern fragrances. This stuff was already 60 years old when the 80ies powerhouses came out. If it’s definitely one thing i’d say it’s absolutely unique and distinct.

I was born 1980 I think it was 90 r 91 and I'll neVER forget smelling NINA RICCI CLUB. I knew all the way back then that was something special I fell in love 1st time I smelled it .. I will purchase a bottle off of ebay sooner r latr .... I think it came out in 89 ★★★★ BANGER run abt 300 + and u know for back then that was astronomical expensive ...

This is a great Classic Collection by far. Even though I don't like all of them, I have great respect for all of them👍. Some I had when I was very young, like Fahrenheit. Today I prefer the perfume, which is wonderful.❤ Kouros I also had when I was 17 and I never found a woman who liked this fragrance.😄 But it is great.👌 And Opium I still have in the EDP version and love it.❤ Great video.👍

You have a great classic collection Nick. I need to try some of those. IMO that old school classy masculine mens style never gets old. I would never question you putting Eternity in there.. it's definitely a classic. I would also throw in Tommy Hilfiger Tommy Boy. It's a classic IMO

Have you ever smelled Azzaro’s Acteur it’s been discontinued sadly came out in ‘89

This smells like a more sophisticated version of Bently for men intense. The tobacco is very clear, the honey fleeting, and the wood is powdery. From the reviews you'd think you'd be getting this great honey frag with some balancing wood and a touch of citrus. Instead you get a tobacco frag a la 1960/Bently. Bently smells like a cigar box and the guy who thinks he's the boss, this smells like a the guy who is actually the boss. It's cosmetic and mature.

Primera is probably my favorite discovery of 2022 and earnest I haven't got a bottle yet but I have ton of gentlemans nod shaving soaps
