Around 4,000 students at the Sisters of Mary School welcome our dear SMS Alumni and the delegates of the ASMSI International Convention right after the 6am Mass (August 4, 2013). Nostalgic, mesmerized, over-joyed, teary-eyed, touched and humbled they were. Surprisingly the most wonderful, the sweetest gestures they've ever witnessed (from our SMS children). "Thousands of them -- and they move in one direction -- harmoniously, perfectly in-sync, so subtle, so childlike, in one heart, in one spirit, we can't help but be moved. We've seen our reflection in them - a reason for us to be refreshed, to reach out and to return. Like eagles we will soar high, but moment like this makes us realize how fortunate we are of having experienced the love of the Sisters & Fr.Al because we had but that one common denominator...Despite those little success and doses of great (and sometimes painful) experiences which honed us to be better individuals and continually face life's challenges, we are humbled."
In our simple way,may we return back the favor by joining their all-together birthday celebration on August 11, 2013 at each of the Sisters of Mary Campuses in Cavite and Cebu (Sunday before/nearest August 15). Please bring your little presents for them. Candies and chocolates may do ;) For cash donations, you may forward it to the Fr. Al's Children Foundation, Inc. Remember to count our blessings! It'll just surprise us - bec. they are countless! Please join your batch in the Foundation/Birthday celebration activities with our dear SMS Children. Let us not get tired of making them happy and let us reminisce the moments that once upon a time, we were once like them ;)
