@@SteveArvey hey Steve, big fans here. Nancy and I have seen you a few times with Memphis Lightning in Maine. Would love to jam on my harmonica with you.
I've had 3 buses insulate the windows, poly board..
Propane creates water and CO2 when burned. Be careful because you can wake up wet, or not wake up
You're doing what they're doing.
😆 that makes it funnier
Propane has the unfortunate side effect of adding a lot of humidity to the air, which causes the windows to quickly collect condensation, furthermore, it also releases a certain amount of carbon dioxide, which can be deadly in high enough doses.. Therefore its important to always have airflow when using such a product. The diesel heater on the other hand has an actual exhaust going outside, meaning that all the air it blows it just pure heated dry air.. I would just add some tubing to the outlet of the diesel heater, so i could direct warm air to come from both the front and the back of the bus, for even heating
I would paint those windows with insulating-paint.
Chinese diesel heater for the win
I've found those things dump humidity in a small space and make it quite uncomfortable. I love deisel heaters for that, it's a nice dry heat. I get that the have their places
Exchanging propane tanks at those cages is foolish, you're easily overpaying by 3x. Just take the tank to any propane dealer and they'll fill it for about $2.50 a gallon
Propane puts off to much moisture
I would put the diesel heater on the floor . They work way better when they heat from the bottom / floor up.
Build a false floor 1-2 inches above the existing floor and then you can blow hot air into the hollow between the two floors to give you radiant heat. It'll keep the floor warm for the dogs, and your instruments will stay in tune with your stands on the floor.
You can buy interlocking rubber pads for the floor. Ironton anti-fatigue mats at Northern Tool. Put the heater about 4 to five inches from the floor and set a fan on top of it or behind it. That works great with those oil filled heaters if you find yourself using one in your house. Just put the oil filled heater on low with the temperature set on medium and set a box fan behind it. That's a really good combination. You can make some plywood frames that you cover with thick clear plastic on both sides. like restaurants put on tables. Just drape the plastic down both sides and staple it to the plywood. I buy it at Walmart in the fabric section. That's like having triple pane windows. I did that in a house that had windows 5 ft x 6 ft. I was using a cast iron wood burning heater and I could get the place very toasty. I put a box fan behind the heater and mounted a piece of tin on each side of the heater. That also allowed me to cook on the heater and not get my legs hot. I was property sitting and really miss living there but sometimes good things come to an end. I hope this helps you.
You will soon find out that using propane inside of an enclosure you will soon wake up dead if you're fortunate and if you're not you will wake up a vegetable.....you will be a lot cheaper off to get two diesel heaters versus one propane propane is too expensive diesel heaters are cheaper hotter and more reliable....... Although if we had your money we would be living in a school bus with absolutely zero insulation in sub-freezing temperatures LOL
😂 I have a CO detector, plenty of ventilation, and I'm only out there and hour or two at a time. I appreciate your concern. This setup is cheaper than renting a space or adding on to my home, plus we have a lot of fun out there.
You sound like me griping about Columbia, Tennessee. I all the time wonder how so many people are NOT at work. I hate how busy this little town is.
my response is" fawk you".

Mad at the dog after abandoning him?
No, it’s called ordering online and picking it up at Walmart my parents do it all the time! They’re 78 and 79 years old and they just order everything on their app and then it can be delivered or picked up at the store
This is exactly why I shop onpine.
Nope
What’s crazy is that it’s a line for you to do the work yourself because they won’t even hire cashiers now
Glad to be part of the banjammers
Is that Cousin Steph???? Her Dad would love this.
Join us with Banjo cuz Charlie!❤
Love the "Safety Briefing"- lol
Was a very fun group.🎉
I will be there at your live stream if I can
This is great!!
If bus is diesel, better put treatment in tanks so they don't gel up
Thanks for the reminder!
If dry heat is what you like, you can definitely accomplish this using the diesel heater by having better moving airflow in the bus. Find an 12 volt DC jet fan, create a vent system up top, mount on ceiling, install jet fan along side with diesel heater tube in the mounted venting system. You can goto lowes into the plumbing section, and buy PVC 4-5 inch diameter drain pipe along with a fitting Y pipe. Then make cutouts for each vent across the pipe. (Every 2 feet) Then install a sewer boot at the very end of the pipe to make the vents work. What those diesel heaters lack is airflow and circulation, the faster you can pump the airflow from heat of the diesel heater, the faster the bus will stay warm even if the jetfan is pulling the current air from inside of bus and recirculating it. You can easily eliminate the propane heater by this method. Hope this helps you on your winter journeys!
@@WoodshedBus Also you don't want to install the jetfan directly in front of the heat coming from diesel generator tube, it will melt the fan blades and burn the jetfan motor, that is why I mentioned about recirculation planning. Keeps the jetfan cooler and from melting. But will also pass the heat much faster than the diesel heater itself.
@@WoodshedBus Lemme know if you want a made diagram for my long explanation. I'm pretty confident it will help you for those super low winter temp seasons.

I still enjoy jamming like this, but it gets so boring playing things like a 1-4-5 basic blues and it’s usually in the key of C or something
True ...but there were a variety of skill levels on the bus

Just imagine if your mother was dealt a different hand in her life what she could have been! I know Suzanne and the sad story of our Gagne family! There's things that people will never know, but so far, none of us are criminals. I had resentment because I was in the foster system myself. The first two places were good because of the friendship I developed, but the nuns for one year and brothers for 2 years were hell! At barely 7 years old and being taken away from family was tough, but I got tougher! The two farms I ended up to were great! My last place was total destruction of myself! I turned out good! I truly appreciate and understand what kids go through on foster care!!! REMEMBER I was there also!
I find it hard concentrating when people are talking but I guess playing in front of audience it's like that. 👍 I played in front of maybe 50 people at a Christmas recital and I was a total wreck but I did my two songs and people liked it to my shock. Play because you like it is important and enjoy your mistakes because like Joe Walsh and Darrell Hall said mistake is part of song writing and melody!
Name the bus the band 🌠

One day at a time. If i can get some free time on a weekend I will come down and help you find your electrical draw.
