Every band alive has had at least one gig like this where the equipment just doesn't want to work properly, or the mix is shit so you can't hear anything properly, or it's such a din you can't make anything out! Sucks but getting through it is key!

Last time I saw them live was in 1999 😄

Very dope, always loved this band! Finally saw them when I was an adult back in 2012. Bought a shirt from them and lost it in the crowd!! It was an insane day with Breaking Benjamin too. Tim locked eyes with me- I knew all the lyrics and screamed them from the heart. Such a great memory! I love this band.

I really gotta say as a teenager growing up with this band I really feel fortunate to say I “grew up” with these guys and to be alive and living amongst this era of metal. Like seriously the best fucking time. This band was always fucking amazing to me. I saw them so many times live, met and hung out not just with Alexi but the rest of the band, and being that I came from Alaska there was so much relative conversations we had together about growing up in the cold, the environment, I remember Henka, Roope and Jaska were like “dude your from Alaska? Fuck come on and hang out with us” I was so flattered and honoured. And then we met up again on 70k 2012 they were all like “hey it’s the Alaska dude! What’s up!” As if it was the next day. Didn’t forget about me instantly remembered me. We didn’t see each other again until the last tour in 2019 and even after 7 fucking years Alexi never forgot me. The first thing he literally asked me was “bro where the fuck have you been?” Fuck I love COBHC and I miss Alexi so fucking much.

Last time I saw him with COB was summer of 2019, before they disband. I found him tired, never knew he was sick. It was a shock to me when COB disband but when they announced his death my life just collapsed. I remember getting ready for job and leaving home, and hours after that finding myself already at Work, never knowing how I arrived there. Alexi was so young and gifted, he needed to stay. I traveled 6500km just to put a flower on his grave, I never thought I'd live to see the day when he won't be here. It's a cruel cruel joke, and it shouldn't happen to him.
