Showman’s brush ! Lols , good work lad .
19 50.. where you get large brush from?
More plaster on the ground than on the wall hhhhhhheee😂
You only need for spray on. Not trowel on?
Nice Job Boys
Great job. Is this render scraped with a bar just before scratching? Or does the scratch take place hours after the levelling with a bar?
Confidence on that ibar! Love it lad!👊👊👊👊
Where can I get that brush!!???
Try giving PFT northern in Rotherham a call.
wtf... 50% of what you putted on go to the waste, to early for I Bar, its to wet at this stage..
This is exactly when an I Bar should be used. Hit it too hard and the bar cannot flatten the wall correctly. Removing the surface with an I Bar not only flattens the render but also accelerates the set to harden ready for a light finish with a scraper.
@@rendittheexpertrenderstore2862 so your advice is to do it same day? most trades will say to wait for it next morning..(?)

You obviously havent got a clue what your talking about so why bother commenting, been plastering 15 years, it's not called a scrapped render for nothing, the idea is you put the render on slightly thicker that the beads give a quick flatten then once it's ready its opened up and scrapped/I barred back to a finish.
@@leeworswick2063 that`s common knowledge, you may been plastering 15 years or 2 rules always the same, or did you need 15 years to figure it out?? It`s like with football, 2 players have 20 years experience but one play in Premier League Manchester City the other in 2nd league FC Leyland, it`s not important how long you doing something is how good you are.
Is this same day scratch or next day
What brand/material is this to achieve this finish? KBond?? Thanks
Where did you buy the long brush from?
Think you very👍👍 much
Hi , thanks for this video , I'm from africa I wor in same job , do you interesting to see mine ? Maybe your are interesting to hearing someone?
Typically scraped within 4-36 hours, when the base coat has just hardened, but not fully set. Simple guidance is that you should be able to scrape it with your nail, but not be able to leave a thumb print in it.
Nice straight bands brother 👍mint spraying!is that an Mtec? It’s the same gun as mine I’ve got the m200
What is the name of this serrated feather tool that is used for balance What is the name of the company?
Rafina
Why does it not have a couple handles on it ?
Much more feel through the bar mate
Thanks for this demo. If using a Weber Monocouche two coat system, at what point do you use the I-bar scraper? Once it’s dry before scraping, or a short time after applying the second coat whilst still wet?
Did you use the I-bar whilst it was still fresh on wet or wait a while? Would appreciate your guidance here.
You wait until your fingers don’t leave an impression in the top coat , I honestly wouldn’t recommend doing this on someone’s house unless you have learned it from someone because it will without a doubt bite you in the arse and cost you a lot of money
that's one wasteful screeding method but effective no less, if it's designed to work like that then i suppose it is what it is
At what point would you level with the I beam? After application once its going off, or right before the scratch
Labourers job no skill in this
If you think there's no skill to this I'd suggest you not give it a go.....
Give it a go ?? Been self employed since 89 can’t beat traditional it’s a loads 💩
One of those old farts stuck in their ways that can’t accept that there are new and better ways to do things than their traditional ways
@@James-yy4vl yep.. nothing cracks like traditional render
James I’m a oldish fart both ways are legit 👌🏻
At what time are u using the i bar mate?
Are you hitting it earlier with the bar? I’ve just got one but combine with ox scratcher
instablaster
Bought one yesterday, works very well against just scratcher 👍🏻

Very good

Top work
Lol just watched this upload answered my last question
Prob a stupid question but is the bar doing the same job as the scratch pad only straightening it as you go good upload👍
basically yes,i bought one this week and a very big help ,then just go over it lightly with your scratch float
Subbed and liked not seen that rule used before nice 1
