The Missouri Kidney Program (MoKP) is a state funded program administered by the University of Missouri School of Medicine, which provides financial assistance for eligible Missourians who have kidney failure and are on dialysis, or have received a kidney transplant. The program supports education and research, partners with dialysis centers and transplant centers statewide, and has expertise in health insurance for kidney disease, including Medicare and Medicaid.
The MoKP has been offering patient education for Missourians with chronic kidney disease since 1983 via in-person classes in a few locations. As with many organizations today, we want and need to leverage technology to best meet the needs of those we serve and to maximize the return on investment of our state funds. So, we now offer the same excellent content and professional presenters from our in-person classes to you in videos you can watch when convenient for you.
