Subaru key stuck fix, 2016 legacy explained
I explain and show the mechanism that is the culprit of not releasing the key. When you put the car in park it engages the micro switch. The problem with this is after time it doesn’t engage the switch fully. I did find on my car that if I take the shift rod that is plastic down to 6.35” on the top side and chamfer it this will release the key. I don’t show filing it down but I recommend if you do this use some calibers and take a little off at a time and keep trying it until you get your desired result. Now this will not work on the metal rod style you’ll have to figure that out yourself as I don’t have that type.

Doing this will allow key removal while in gear thus allowing car to roll! Emergency only!!!!!!!
Subaru has extended the warranty on this issue! Do this in emergency, takes literally 12 seconds! Ok maybe a minute! Your key won’t beep if left in ignition with door open! I’ll look into the real issue when I get time or if the dealer will warranty my 2016 legacy with 75k miles!
Ahh yess, this just happened to my 17yrold dremel.. 1st the lock button was slipping. Now it wont engage or disengage! ..i dont have a mill soo i ordered the lock shaft part..thank you!!
I'm having low voltage to all of my outlets. I checked the breaker box with a meter and it reads fine. Any help would be appreciated. Ty.
Did you solve your problem ?
@@elmarsauro3245 yes, it was a loose connection in the outside breaker box. The breaker was pretty old and corroded. Thanks for asking.
How much did you pay for this machine?
You want to buy mine
@@trialnterror No, I got same one used. Just wanted to know how much it was when it was new.
i would guess around 2000...i think the 12x24 version was 3200...company went out of businesa several yrs ago...
Please distinguish the words "plug" and "outlet" ("receptacle"). If you call them both the same thing, we can't understand you.
Sorry you are exactly correct, in this video I was only talking about the outlets (receptacle) I’ve always had issues with the names of outlets because growing up my parents would always call it a plug. Which throws me off. N yes I do know the difference between the two. I would do the same thing working on aircraft harnesses and I’d be corrected then also. From here on out I’ll be more cognizant between the two.

did you get the lathe for free?
Thanks

Thanks for this info, have one outlet that should be 230v but it's at like 150v, thought something was wrong with the cable but now I'll try replacing the outlet
its a 15 yr old machine using 25yr old deskcnc software
Can I contact you? I tried converting anilam crusader using the servos. This is what I have been thinking about going to. Would like to know what motors you bought and any problems u had.
Amazing work!

Thank you for the time to do the video it helps a lot 👍🏻🤜🏻
i have gfi with the same problem. thanks
Ive just moved into a new house and sure enough, when i plug my vacuum in the thing barely sucks at all. Im wondering if maybe a bunch of the outlets in the new house are weak, or broken? Strange..
Bob's your uncle. lol Thanks my man. This was a quick breakdown with solid stategy. Now if I can just find my meter...
The reason for the low voltage (94v) is that the wires in the wall are too thin, or too long, or there is another big high-wattage load in parallel with it, like heater, air conditioner, coffee maker, etc. A lot of old homes have the old-fashioned cotton-covered wires with 2-prong outlets. Some dishonest electrician ran a jumper wire from green (ground) to silver (neutral) and put in a 3-prong outlet, to deceive new homebuyers. I am NOT saying this happened in your house, but a lot of crooked home sellers do this.
I have 12g wires the outlet was faulty. Put a new outlet in and the outlets down stream returned to the correct voltage.
Thank you so much this really helped diagnose my issue! An outlet had a loose connection and caused the following 3 outlets to only output 80 volts.
Just a tip - when compressing the caliper pistons, crack the bleeder screw instead of pushing that dirty fluid back into the system. The filthiest brake fluid is in the caliper, so squirt it out through the bleeder.
Thanks!
I've got an Ender thats skipping now for 5 days. No fix has worked. I'm really starting to think these are junk printers and we made a huge mistake buying it.
Your outlet is not parallel it's in series to be my guess or some weird resistance.
Now you have me thinking……. These should be parallel but if one hot is on the top screw and the next hot was on the bottom screw and something burnt the connection between the 2 screws it’d turn the line into a series…….. your hurting my head bro! 😂
Thanks for the help. You solved my problem. It's amazing how a plug can just go bad.
There was plenty of room to cut off the hack job that someone tried to solder the ends. I then sanded the ends to get a good connection and wrapped them around the terminal like they were meant to be. Tighten the nuts and put it back together! Man this thing can lay a bead! Beautiful welds for a AC 250 amp welder!!!! I should of fixed this long ago!
Seems to be the voltage divider from aliexpress yes

Thank you for the video!! Fought my rear rotor, until I watched your video.

Thanks for showing the guts of this lock. I had to do a locked up surgery to get mine to open. Couldn't have done it without seeing this. Amazing how a little lubrication can keep mechanisms working!
I used the floor jack like a reverse drill press, used good drill bits and used the hydraulic pressure to do all the heavy lifting! Worked amazingly well with this low geared drill hog drill by Milwaukee! I put my knee on the bar and my left hand to activate the switch and my right hand to pump the floor jack! Like my best TH-camr says…. Keep your 🍆 in a vise!
You on Xanax or wat
Very helpful video. What brand and where can I get one of those divider boards?
Thanks for the idea! I filed down a pop rivet in a drill, looks almost the same, should work haha
@FAKE_ ROACH 3 yeah it worked, and still working 👍
@FAKE_ ROACH 3 no problem, just try replicate the original one and you'll be good 👍
Your video was very helpfull to me. thanks a lot.
Hello, what post processor are you using for fusion 360? What controller do you have?
Hi. I am facing a task of setting up an natively manual plasma cutter with an automated system (THC and so on). Problem is that I have a High Voltage start plasma without a divider or Arc Ok signal. So as far as I understand Your setup You are using an external divider to get that 1:50 for THC readout and You wired it to bypass the need for additionl Arc Ok output, so that it is basically always on as soon as the Start button is triggered? Eagerly waiting for Your response.
Hi do you still have the old imservice cnc
2 years late but yes I do
Very nice setup
Thanks for sharing I have the same issue in my house.
Who’s doing all this
What size cable duct are you using
Thanks, but electrical instructions are like trying to understand someone using a foreign language and me trying to understand.
