A garage portion of a house caught fire, we were dispatched and were able to contain it to just the garage.

We were called to respond to a residential structure fire, it seemed to be mostly in the garage, and no other damage was done to the house (besides smoke)! It was a best case scenario!

This was a response to a vehicle fire, was mostly extinguished before I got there. Also, that was a close call! The dashcam wide angle looks like I was closer to him than I really was!

Call of a fire at a power plant nearby. Was able to be extinguished using a couple of water cans.
Fire Department POV Response #20 (20th Special! New Siren!)
มุมมอง 6K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Had a call for a vehicle extrication on the interstate. Got cancelled just as I was about to make entrance onto the interstate. I installed a new siren recently. It's one I've had lying around for a while, just never put it in. Couldn't let go of the old PA300, just too much novelty in it. But I have now upgraded to a Whelen, and man does this thing part the waters! I feel as if people move muc...

This was a response back out to the same recreation center as last video, this time they smelled what we believe to be residual smoke from the previous day.

A water fountain had caught on fire at a local recreation center, it was extinguished without any further incident.

This was a response to a crash scene, out of respect for all involved I chose not to show the scene. Thank you for understanding. On another note, it had rained a lot the night before and I went through some deeper water, which waterlogged my siren speaker. That is the reason it was so quiet for most of this response!

This was a gas station/laundromat building that caught fire, I added in some later footage showing the smoke coming out of the building. Thanks for 666 subs at the time of this video! It means a lot!

Some workers working on a new restaurant were attempting to trim something with a saw. The saw created sparks which caught some glue that they had placed earlier on fire.

I was out and about and we had reports of a structure fire, it was a simple call, no actual fire, but there was reports of smell of smoke in the house. Everything checked out and was fine.

THANKS FOR 500 SUBS! And one of our videos hit 16,800 VIEWS! HOLY MACKEREL! Had a house fire, & we were dispatched. My siren got a little wonky on me, I think it's my car's batteries LOL. Had no issues up until this point.

    So you go POV to a brush fire? What happens if you get there first? Do you have a water tank on your POV to fight the fire with? I'll never understand why volunteers do certain things.

    • @allenampueda447
      @allenampueda447 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you get there first you scope the size of the fire and radio the information over so they can bring what you need. At the same time you you could be getting your gear on while on scene. That is what I do personally when I go to a fire in my POV and I am the first one to arrive.
