Motocross racing was so much better back in the 70's. There were so many different bike choices and set ups. The natural terrain tracks were so diverse. None of the bump & jump tracks of today. Better racing and better opportunities for all racers.

The good old days.. i raced through the 80s. Best times of my life. Committee members these days unfortunately are all about making sure their own kids get very well looked after. Seen it for the past 10 years locally and watched many good people walk away from the sport.

Hey rosco it’s me Brad again.. I wanna be South Australia’s next Dakar winner. I wanna be the first double amputee to win Dakar. I wanna be the fastest bike rider on earth. I’m going to my first speed week at lake Gardiner and I plan on building and riding a bike past 400 miles an hour. It can be done it’s acheivable it’s a record Australia can hold. Look at all the riders before me paving the way showing a small town country bloke can stand proudly on the world stage. Even if I’m stuffed n have to be wheeled up on stage n sit on the podium, I will show the world you can achieve anything. Henry ford said If you thiknow you can, Or think you cant, your right. An amputee who drives semis said Your only disability is your own mind set.

Look at him pick his line. He knows the soft spots n stands up knowing she’s gonna sway in the rear. It’s incredible we get to watch this true professional doing his job tk the best of his abilities. I’ll be at port gawler on Thursday come out n watch me ride. I know Andy’s mate Troy in waikerie I come from eudunda. When I see Andy’s bike in Birdwood it makes my heart race. I feel the passion he must have felt riding it n seeing these videos, he felt it for sure!!!

Hey rosco thanks for putting these up. I hit a high voltage powerline a few years ago I took 19,000 volts three times over 11 seconds n lost both my legs as a result. I just bought a wr450f for the finke but my life time goal has always been to race Dakar. I’ve got hand controls setup and prosthetic legs for riding called a motoknee n versa foot. It’s people like Andy and Toby price that inspire me and always will. We all know the risks but the reward is worth the risk. I lay awake dreaming of racing the desert I’ll live and die doing it. I’ll do what ever it takes. I’m sorry for your loss mate your a good man.
