Was it regarding the evacuations and you will die? If so, that's because I was getting nonstop comments about how I needed to evacuate or I was going to die... when I am not in any evacuation zone.

@journeywiththejaneks same!! Lol!! I was like: listen this isn't my first rodeo. I WAS worried about the people down by lake Okeechobee after watching all those tornados spawn. One of them even came by our way. Hope you're safe!

Yes, the entire central part of the state is under hurricane warning and tornado watch. So there's nowhere to really hide, almost anyone could be affected.

@journeywiththejaneks it's like a battle of mind and body not knowing where it's safe. And the collapse of man-made levees and dams are the downfall of all the destruction

Yes, trees are going to be a major issue, I think more than anything else. I just took the dog out for our 11 AM update video, and there is already standing water in the grass where I live.

Thank you, right now the eye seems to be tracking south of us. It's going to be a rough night tomorrow, but we will be ok.

When was the last time that they predicted where the hurricane would make landfall this far out? The odds are we will not be taking a direct hit. Please see my 7 PM update video--- we plan on going to a shelter if it is still on a direct hit tomorrow.

Yes trust me, we are not being reckless. I was completely freaking out yesterday, but listening to Denis Phillips made me realize that most of what we are seeing is "hype," and even if we get a direct hit in the area, we are far enough inland to not be completely devastated.

I plan on posting every 2-3 hours tomorrow, and then I will still get videos after we lose power. Once we get power back I will upload them all.

Definitely concerned, but we are not in an evacuation zone. 90% of our community is staying. We are not going to drown, we are nowhere near a flood zone. The only concern is the wind, but these homes are newer and built to higher hurricane ratings.

Yes, with where we are, the biggest issues will be debris and loss of power. Not too many trees to damage homes, as we are in a newer subdivision. We are also at an elevation of 50' so there is no concern for storm surge, and we are not in an evacuation zone.

Thanks! We are in a single story block home built after 2004, so we should be ok. But if the path looks bad, there is a shelter very close to us we may end up going to.

Same. Thankfully we are nowhere near being at risk for storm surge. Our elevation is about 50', so we are ok. We are not reckless; if we were in an evacuation zone, we would have left on Sunday.

Yes! That was down in Alligator Alley. We always had the plan to shoot across the state via SR70 or SR674. For whatever reason, no one is using the state roads, only the interstates. The state roads have been clear all week!
