I like the idea, but the terrain options seem to be a bit of a problem unless there is a detail not shown here. for instance, mechs walk onto woods, i would need to remove the woods tile to put the mech there. I think the best implementation of trees I found are that the tree top is detachable from the base, and the base has some sort of visual indicator as to what it is (light, heavy)

Quick question, are these hollow for resin printing? Been following your stuff for a while now just found your channel here, sweet!

I like the idea of customizing the buildings and using the open hexes for putting the mech’s base in so it doesn’t jiggle around. It’ll help with being able to tell what side the unit is facing. Mabye some small water tanks and air conditioning units?

I think it would work great with some mods for sure!

I would say it could work for 6-8 mm, but maybe with modifications. Regarding the Tribes, do you plan on adding a new goal unlocked by the number of members?

Thank you so much for all the great terrain. I have a couple suggestions for future gothic pieces: -Toppers for the G30 Imperial palace (on the two towers at the front and on for the higher at the back) -Topper for the G31 Tech Cult Citadel -New square gothic buildings 2x2 (like the G9-12, G36-39 but square, compatible with the G30 toppers) -New products to create great sky-scraper (I like combining small towers on top bigger buildings, ex: putting G28 on top of G56 or G107 on G119)

with the pipeline is great. you need a refinery now too with pipeline sections

The Damaged one, being a bigger building. I feel there needs to be smaller damage strikes on the other walls or like machine gun/auto cannon bullet runs up the side. expand some flavor to the undamaged sides.

Just picked up some of your files on my mini factory, how do you support these? is it just flat to the bed or do you put them on a raft/rotate 45 degrees etc.

I don't know if it is possible to make, but if you could just flip the red encrusted magma over and have the other side as orange active magma then you could completely customize your lava as you would like.

I’ve been a tabletop fan for a long time and I’ve collected a bit of HeroScape hex terrain over the years. I wonder if these buildings work with slotting onto the HS hexes.

Wow, that's an impressive game board. Love the modular system you have used. I agree that it would definitely make a great King of the Hill map, if the participants enjoy some chaos then using the rules for turning on pavement and skidding should make for some crazy fun.

This is exactly the video I needed. Would have liked to have seen some of your prints right out of the printer to see how clean you can get them. Also, what projects can you do with this printer, what is better done on a resin printer? Mainly interested in Battletech miniatures and hex bases. Also, maybe next time you buy a printer, maybe show the whole process of unboxing, setup, and running the first print? Thanks for this!

Coming back to tabletop BattleTech for first time this century (last time I played TT was the 90s). Everything 'Catalyst' is new to me. Imagine my pleased shock to discover the quality and bang for buck on the current products. I picked a helluva time to come back to this game. Example; been gaming since the 80s. Never once have I painted a single miniature. The quality of the current Catalyst minis has me wanting to.... Then the bastards put out a newbie paint kit, targeting exactly me... I start looking up tutorials... Holy hell... Tons of painting tips, so many, I am able to pick BattleTech focus only... I was watching a live stream of guy painting, asking questions... Now, not the 80s or 90s is BattleTech's Golden Age. As far as I can tell, now is the best time to be playing this game.

I disagree, I think that resentments are definitely the way to go before you get into FDM. There's a place for both but if you buy a $200 resume printer you can print miniatures and some terrain although you'll have to learn how to slice it and print it in pieces.

Sadly I was a wee one when, FASA Corporation's original 1984 created this game. Played it in 1997. Ah the metal figs of memories.

My friend likes heroscape terrain, modular hex terrain that's of a different scale than battletech. Would you be able to do a full showcase of this terrain system, how the pieces fit together, lifting each piece and showing it to the camera?
