My DJ handle was always LD50, which is a science term that fascinated me and was later entertainingly appropriate..I've been LD50 since forever but began in earnest about 1995.

I started off back in the day DJing, ran a few club nights and parties where I went to college. Somehow our illegal parties were always more popular than the clubnights, never really made sense to me but hey, fun was had

I'd always been collecting grooveboxes with limited techno success, but then was bequeathed a TB-303 and Futureretro 777 when my best friend died #RIPBigPuffin and I felt like I owed it to him to try and do something with them.

Its been a long learning process but finally I feel like I'm starting to get some results I'm happy with, esp as it's pretty much all improv, magical techno from nowhere.

I like long meditative mixes which are based around a core loop build out from there till it's an absolute noisefest.
