Wrongo Keebler
This is a nonsense song. John trolling the people who think there's "deep meaning" to all the Beatles lyrics. Semolina Pilchard - Semolina is a type of flour and a Pilchard is a fish
Love Russell
I can tell. You don't like it
SRV Tin Pan Alley W/ johnny Copeland is pure blues
If you have only heard part of the song Like A Rock you need to listen to the whole song, it is amazing!!!
❤ great
🇮🇹💣❤️
Greatest ever and will ever be !!
Try “Against the Wind”. See if you come down on the side of Seger is wistful or whiney.
SRV is the greatest guitarist to ever breathe oxygen!!
Top 3 Led albums I, II and Presence.
There's bad place to start with SRV.
Considering that Bob has been around about 10 years longer than JCM ....calling this song JCM-like is disrespectful . If any thing JCM is Seger-like.
Lennon often wrote stuff to blow the lid off of "this must make sense" or it is supposed to make sense or people trying to look deep into something to figure out some sort of secret code. What if it is just meant to be listened to without trying to figure it out?
I first heard The Chain as part of the Rumours album, so it flowed with everything they did. In fact, it's my favorite Fleetwood Mac song.
Leaders can reform. You say you can’t just sit there but no American has never been able to wind back gun laws
IF you liked this song by Bob, you'll like "Like a Rock".
jimmy page is not a perfectionist ... he's sloppy
Due grandi, grandissimi artisti.❤❤
Training is passing shooting endurance pace ball control basically
It's hard not to tear up when thinking of this wonder human being. 🥲
Back when Stevie was about 15 or 16 he went to a Blues club named Antione’s and Albert King was playing Stevie would not leave Antoine alone until he asked Albert if Stevie could sit in and play which made Albert mad so he though he would teach Stevie a lesson and make Stevie look stupid but the joke was on Albert because when Stevie got on stage Albert made up some licks and challenged Stevie to play them and he did better than Albert and after that night the hit it off and became good friends
Stevie’s idols was blues legends BB King, Albert King, Hallowing Wolf, and all the other Blues legends . BB King said one time that he wished he could play like Stevie because the music just flows through Stevie and BB plays like he talked sometime he has to stop and think .
Gotta do Jimi Hendrix - Machine Gun (Live), Manic Depression, Crosstown Traffic If 6 was 9.
I have Jimi as The GOAT and SRV is 1B.... Both died way too young. Jimi just blew the whole scene away. I wish there was a world where they could've played together.
I saw him live a few times., Fantastic!!!
1967 dude, was he waaay ahead of the musical curve?
liked the reaction but it is only coming in in on ear
You need to do the Austin City limits version of this. Watch the connection he has with his wife
At one point in this performance, he played the guitar behind his back..but you weren't watching the actual concert footage.
Stevie Ray and Albert King have quite a few songs together, you should check them out, as well as collaborations with Jeff Healey.
Jimmy Page couldn't carry Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar strap ! Facts.
fun fact, violent crime including gun related crime has actually increased.
It has not. Violent crime and gun crime has decreased by about 50% in the last 25 years in Australia.
@@alexanderdickson419 keep telling yourself that, feel safe in your bubble.
My friend your voice comes in as mono. Music is two channel, but not your voice. Interesting your sound effects are two channel. BTW you can't go wrong with Bob. 6 decades of music. Song writer Hall of Fame, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Yes Miss Zuniga was in Space Balls. Very few recognize her.
The🦭 walrus was Paul.
Stevie is to the "Blues" is what Larry Bird is to the NBA like Clark is to the WNBA all 3 are Goats of their peak and Clark hasn't peaked.
😊
Hey dog, why'd you bother uploading the performance only to cover it with that thumbnail so PFUHCIN dark you can't see the performance? Way to DESTROY A MASTERPIECE fool!
Listen to "Why Don't We Do It in the Road." Great lyrics.
I was a major mistake to not watch this live :( As soon as I realized this was just audio..... I bailed. I would have watched beginning to end if it was the live video.
I have watched and listened to him for years. Best songs imo riviera paradise, lenny, little wing, third stone from the sun, voodoo child, johnny copeland and stevie tin pan alley, and dirty pool. Always capitol theater, El macambo or after he got sober when he got even better but then "died" shortly after
The best guitar player of all time that’s who you’re listening to right now just saying
I know that most hip hop is focused on the beat and words. You're not the first person on here who I've seen have to almost deprogram themselves to truly understand other genres, particularly rock music. When listening to music in other genres, you should leave those preconceived notions behind you and go with the song as a whole, the feel, the vibe. There doesn't always have to be a literal meaning to the lyrics and sometimes, the song as a whole is more important than any individual element within the song, including the lyrics. I hope that helps. I subscribed! Peace
Lennon did hip-hop before there was hip-hop
SRV is one to not just listen to, but to WATCH!! There are so many great performances he has out there. If I were to lead you to one other amongst his many is MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB. Yes that song!! Lol
I think Mister Rogers would want you to feel and express your feelings, however you want to, whether it's through crying, or not crying. I loved the comment about how he was "a rock star to the little person inside of us"
Exactly right . . .the song "doesn't mean a goddamned thing"! Others have laid it out in the comments below to set the context and history. John Lennon is DARING you to find a meaning in THESE lyrics! Just absurd nonsense, but it works PERFECTLY!
Were you watching the video also or just listening to audio?
Really enjoyed the Walls of Jericho.
