A tip if your controller gets stuck with an odd color even when it's charging is to manually reset it through that little hole on the back (it gets stuck thinking it's player 2, 3 or 4). Edit: Thanks for pinning my comment bro :)

So you don’t add the water and descaled to the milk container?

Easiest way to deep clean it is to turn it on - full tanks of water preferably bottled water and simply press custom and allow full cycle then press froth button below it and let it do a full cycle - it’s the same procedure as first time usage procedure and gives the largest water volume flow through system and helps descale better when using solutions 👍🏻🍻
