Thanks a lot for this!
@@msvmedina75 you are welcome. Hope it helped.
Such an easy-to-follow and wonderfully useful tutorial. Looks really cool too. Thank you!
Thank and glad you found it useful :)
Hi thank you for the tutorial! It was very helpful! But I alway have these two questions: What's the setting when printing out PDF? and How does the printer know what colors to use if the file is in black? Do I send them color standard?
Hi, yes you send them color standards along with a copy of the colored print artwork and the color separated files which can be color coded. All three of these elements ensure accuracy in your needs for which the printer shows you a strike-off.
Hope that helped
Cotton doesn't last long, 10 washes and it's garbage nearly. Polyester has way less waste and can be recycled.
And cotton and wool grow back every year. It’s the natural cycle
To me at is all subjective, I have some cotton poplin shirts with me for more than 15 years now. Jerseys may not last but denim’s do, so it is not about cotton but more about the type of fabric . Cotton based fabrics to me are breathable and makes for hear decipation. On the other hand, anything produced in a factory is questionable of its character.
Polyester releases out microplastics which is now filling up the ocean and is a serious concern.
@@bambie1830 nothing natural about using pesticides and fertilizer. The soil can only take so much before it's desertified.
@@Decodingfashion_ and cotton releases chemicals into the environment. In the form of fertilizers pesticides etc. I am wearing a polyester shirt now, it's almost 13 years old and looks almost new. You would have gone through like 30 cotton shirts by now... How much micro plastic could really be coming off of it if it still looks new after 702 washes?
I only have two colours but they won't divide. I'm stuck at step one.
1 . Are these vector shapes that you’ve created on illustrator is it an image. If it is an image it won’t separate, 2. Are the two colors very closer to each other ? Then illustrator may not detect them as two separates. These software’s don’t see images as prints or photographs They only understand information through color contrasts. Let me know if it made any sense else feel free to email me. Sundeepramudamu@gmail.com
All I can say is I wish I would have come across this before. Very rational and heart touching. Great one sir. 🤘
That’s awesome Sushmit
So I'm confused. A lot of designers, when starting out, will rely on their instincts and the drive inside them to take a leap into the unknown. For instance, Yamamoto wanted to see women in men's clothing, simple cuts, monochromatic colors, etc, which he thought was more feminine. I highly doubt he first interviewed a ton of women to see how they would feel about his radical idea. He went with his gut feeling, and it turned out successful. For some things, that's what works. Ppl who are passionate about fashion have instincts for these things. So I don't see why forecasting and following trends is so vital. What if you want to break the rules? Introduce a new style to the market? Are you going to sit there doing market research? At the max, one would design a few pieces and show family and friends and get their opinions. Cheaper than hiring a market research company.
Very valid thought, I do not disagree. I also want to share with you few pointers. Out of 100 only a handful like 8-10 designers make it to Yamamotos level. There are 1000s of design schools all over the world, it is only a few who you will see make it to a level. It is not for everybody. Running a fashion label is more of a Business first and design aesthetics second for majority of the brands and here I am addressing the fashion and apparel industry who do not define their own trends but create accessible fashion to a larger audience. To ensure these brands are time right and market ready, forecasting is important. Otherwise what is the relevance of an expensive website like WGSN. I am happy to discuss on this . :)
Main key points... Describe well, thanks for sharing... Keep sharing such a rich content
Thank you so much 😊
Guys DONT PUT DRONES IN CHECK IN BAGS. They will open your bags. Rather carry it in and have the drama upfront
Like i mentioned in the video, It is not the drone that is the issue, it is the battery that is an issue, if you remove the battery, they no one cares about the drone being in your checkin luggage.
very helpful video. love the detailed explanation and all the shortcuts!
Thank you :)
New bie subs an thanks for this tutorial
Happy to know you found it useful :)

Smart ...Handsome...and Intelligent...ie is Sundeep
Haha, Thank you so very much :)
if not pinterest what else can i use for references?
are there any websites for such ??
Ofcourse yes Like I mentioned, other aspirational brands, Various trend reports, WGSN, if you have to pin the specific forecast information the links are from various directions- material supplier, competition and aspirational brands, RUNWAY, and forecast sites. If you are only looking for picture collage then there are many other sources , you can even create your own images through AI.

Thanks and thanks for being a part of the video :)
The title of this video is an absolute lie. The background music is useless and distracting.
Thank you for your feedback, I would love to learn from you about the correctness.
@@Decodingfashion_ The title of this tutorial is "Learn Adobe InDesign in 10 Minutes." We both know that is a ridiculous statement and it is impossible to achieve. A reasonable title for this short video would be, "A Brief Overview of Getting Started with Adobe InDesign." On another matter, the use of background music in any computer-based video tutorial video is just dumb. Viewers want to latch on to every spoken word, but the music causes a big distraction. Furthermore, for those with any hearing impediment (ie: hearing loss) the background music poses an even bigger disruption to the lesson.
@@myronachtman4304 Thanks for the input, Have updated the Description. and Regarding the Background music, I will keep that in mind for the future. Many Thanks.
Loved background music and I learned more basics in this video explanation than all the others i just watched which were poorly explained. To each his own. Make your own perfect videos
