Lord of the Rings - Country Roads - Frodo does Denver
What we have is a remake of the legendary John Denver's, Country Roads. He was gigging one night with a couple. They talked him into coming back for a jam session. He went...well there was an accident on the way and he broke his thumb. This didn't stop the jam session though. They wanted to play a song for him....this was it...yep, Country Roads, biggest hit! Today the hobbits can't help but to jam the song on their long journey to Mordor.

Couldnt get the new gasket on new thermostat to hold, struggle bussin,trying to use old gasket on new thermostat and if you even breathe that suckers floppin off. Bout to flex seal it lol
I wonder if putting a little grease on it to hold in place would work. Hate it when those new ones don't come correct. Can always make one too if you have the stuff to cut one out. Good luck with it!

How much a difference do you believe that made? I think they were both mediumish quality brushes. Good point regardless!
I have a 1976 Mercury model 110/ 9.8 hp. It shifts ok but it is now stuck in forward as the tiller linkage is stuck on full throttle and it will not shift to neutral without bringing the throttle down to idle. The linkage allows a plastic arm plate up around the bottom of the flywheel to advance around forward and backwards with a plastic throttle arm coming up off the carb that rides on the outer edge of the plate so that the throttle increases or decreases according to the position the carb arm rides on this oblong plate. I figure I may have to remove the flywheel, see if I see any where it is sticking and grease it up or adjust or replace a broken part. Does anyone know of a common problem that causes this throttle sticking and the remedy?
I took the pull start assembly off and sprayed the throttle linkage with lubricant and that solved the problem. Then I greased all the linkage points of contact Now the motor shifts and the throttle works fine.
I am not aware of this one, but good luck!

Could this cause mine not to go into Neutral? Mine goes into FWD and REV. But I can’t get it in neutral to start :(
I wouldn't think so. That could be your neutral safety switch is messed up or needs adjustment. Good luck with it!

👋🏻, I discovered you through a mutual friend (den keeper), I switched from iPhone to Samsung for about 4 months. I dropped my fold 4, went back to my iPhone 13 Pro Max and recently upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro Max or as I like to call it the iPhone 15 Pro Meh. If we could take Samsungs hardware and put apples software inside we’d have the perfect phone.

They’re not even hiding it anymore. I watched some of the hearings. These are people with high level clearance saying that they’ve seen advanced technology flying around. I had to make sure I wasn’t watching a prank video at first. Really let’s you know the state of the world when people aren’t even concerned about this type of stuff. Great video.

hey tfitz, how are you doing lately? i remember i found your channel and used to watch you every day some years ago and you were on a turbulent time (so was i, so your videos felt like really good company) and from then on i got really distracted by life and tough stuff and ended up losing track of yours, only eventually stumbling on your channel again with the feeling that a lot changed since that time you've been fighting your ex wife for all kinds of evil stuff she was doing at the time so, long story short, my question is: how are you now? did things ended up great? does it get better? cheers!
Hey there. Great to hear from you! A really great woman came into my life. She is a wonderful stepmom to my son. We now have a newborn together. I had a long legal battle that is still ongoing in regard to my first son. I actually go today to begin a court mandated evaluation process in regard. It took me almost a year to get that. Still been a struggle but in a much better place. Hope you are in a much better place as well. Love your way!!!

Doing well, just been sleep deprived, but he should be able to start sleeping through the night in a few weeks. His mom has been a boss. I've been trying to do my part. I just don't do well on little sleep. All worth it though.

good video, I have an engine like this one, it has normal idle but when I accelerate the top piston does not work, it goes back to idle, both work, I changed the load coil cdi. Another day at full throttle the engine coughed and both pistons worked, then it didn't work anymore. do you have any tips that can be
Interesting. First thought was main jet in carb, but that would affect both pistons. I thought like you that if one wasn't working, then the coil may be bad. I always go back to what it needs: air, fuel and spark. One of those has to be off .. maybe this article will help: www.bornagainboating.com/running-all-cylinders/
thanks for the tip. This engine has already been in 4 mechanics and they don't know what the defect is. I'm waiting for the load coil to arrive and I'll continue the tests, then I'll post the result here

It’s been a ride. Finally not having to go to court. That’s been a load off. Now just have to make it through probation. May be 47 before it’s over but c’est la vie. Been doing pretty well. Hope the same for you.
I got so much to say about this topic. 1.). Bro how are people affording these cars!! Its crazy bro. I got homies paying over $700 in a car note! 2.) But TFitz we may be getting to the point that owning a car may be obsolete in major cities due to ride sharing. Btw good on you for having a vehicle that made it 300k! I have one that is 230K, 3.) I also think I will lease my next vehicle. What do you think about leasing.? 4.) The Matrix is getting expensive. So either become rich or be a minimalist lol. 5.) I went to Carvana which is 100% online. No high pressure salesman.
I've been seeing stuff about Carvana..interesting. And yeah, owning transportation may be becoming obsolete in cities, but that brings up two thoughts: will those in cities become stuck and unable to leave except on foot (I understand trains and what not, but know what I mean) and what about those of us out in the sticks? Leasing is not a bad option. Especially if done in your business. Issue is if something happens that makes you have to pay full price like abnormal wear and tear. We have leased before. I am torn on it. Matrix is definitely getting pricey!

This geocaching thing seems really cool. Closest thing I've seen are time capsules but I haven't seen one of those since grade school. Gonna check the website out.

I have one for my 2 dogs. The collars stopped working though. Had it about a year and a half. One cracked the other one just doesn’t even connect to the box at all.

But my dogs are aggressive to other animals and I live in a small lot. They are growing stir crazy. Lol poor pups. Your pups are darling.

The Cabot is Tile Red. I can't seem to find the old can of the other guy or remember what it was. I knew I took it to the local hardware and tried to get a sort of red I was looking for.

Brother I would point you to Peter Ruckman and his life story. In his biography "Full Cup" he outlines his experience with this and something very scary that happened and a danger with it that you might not anticipate because he sure didn't. I think you would enjoy reading his book.
