So after the Monkees TV Series ended they did a full length feature movie called HEAD and released at the end of 1968. The whole thing was written by Jack Nicholson and Bob Rafelson who also directed it. I believe the whole thing was concocted whilst under the influence of LSD and for many was a let down compared to there TV series. The main single was called the Porpoise Song which I like. The chatter that you hear at the beginning of this song is captured from the Movie and pieced together.

In 1968 the Stones Filmed a Concert Called Rock n Roll Circus. It was always believed that the Stones didn't release it because the Who did an outstanding job and upstaged them. I don't believe this but the Film Masters were found in Ian Stewart's Barn by he's Wife after he had passed away. The concert was eventually released on DVD in 1994. Thank goodness for that because there are some real Gems. Including the Dirty Mac featuring Eric Clapton, John Lennon, Keith Richards and Mitchell

The great Mike Nesmith on Vocal had a successful Solo career as well. The all had wonderful voices.

Unfortunately the Stones Satanic Magesties Request was blown away by the Beatles Sergeant Peppers. A lot of good music on the Album though

Wow an amazing version of Jumping Jack Flash. This recording is how it should have been presented all those years ago. The instruments have so much clarity and depth also the voices. The guitars sound so gritty and grunge. How is this possible after all this time. Can listen to this version over n over. Congrats to who ever made this possible. 😊👍🙏
