Planned a day trip from Santa Marta to Tayrona Park, visiting one of the best beaches: Cabo San Juan.
I was a 1 hour bus from Central Market to the Zaino entrance of Tayrona park. From there, we paid an entry and insurance fee to enter the park and then rode a 15 minute shuttle to Playa Carneaval. One you arrive, you have an option to walk on a 2.5 hour trail to Cabo San Juan or ride a horse for 1 hour. I chose the horse.
