This is correct. I just thoroughly read through the Manuel multiple times and watched five or six different videos, but what she is holding in her hands at 5:26 is actually called the body support and should remain in the car seat. At least, if strictly going by the instructions. Both of my children started to feel a little bit snug even without the pillow that goes inside of that body support, but I think technically speaking, the wedge like pillow that can be taken out of the body support is what is supposed to be removed at 11 pounds.

You can move it and you should more it as the baby grows

the manual actually states the entire body support must be removed once the infant can fit snug without it-approximately 11 pounds.

@@courtneykinniburgh7498 Do you have the Pipa Lite RX model? I just bought a used one & the pillow is sewn in. If you still have your infant body insert can you confirm that the top end of it has hump all across it? I found this odd & uncomfortable looking. I already took this up to my daughter for her newborn & she hasn't used it yet but I told her about it looking odd to me. Just need to confirm that hump is normal. Tks!

@@katherinenewcombe3182guess what I ended up doing. I had hoped that for the time I spend searching the manual, downloading it, and looking for the instructions, I would be able to get a video demonstration in a significant lesser amount of time.

Absolutely brutal watch.

The slots have to be at shoulder level. You adjust harness in accordance to shoulder level with slot. There’s videos on yt on how and when to adjust harness

Glad this was helpful! Agree the manual is not very clear! I had a friend that had a model with a pillow in it and she said she just took the pillow out but definitely confirm with Nuna to get the specific instructions to your model :)

I just removed the pillow for now, but I think the insert itself can eventually be removed as well. Holding on that until I can confirm. Baby is 15+ pounds and the insert is still comfy for him.

For my model I felt without the body support, the head support was loose. If newborn, you would have to re-attach the body support as well (if same model as me). My head support straps velcro through the back fabric only not any deeper into the car seat. Once I removed the body support I definitely felt the head support was very loose but my baby was old enough to have the shoulder straps put back on and that helped a lot. With newborns, usually the shoulder straps are too big though. Not sure I was that helpful but that was my experience with it on my. mode. Hope you find some clarity soon. Sending love.

@@withlovepo that’s actually super helpful thank you. It just didn’t feel secure that way. I had remembered how to put the body support in but just didn’t feel like the head support should be so loose. I really appreciate your help. 😊

@@withlovepo By shoulder "straps", do you mean the removable shoulder "pads"? I'm new with the Pipa Lite RX & trying to figure out a couple of things too!

I had the baby! haha I don't feel insulation compartments are that useful! This is because my baby isn't too fussy about the temperature of their formula or breast milk needing to be cold. Also, the insulation pockets don't hold the cold for that long. If transporting breastmilk, I actually use a different cooler bottle that fits in the bag.

My baby is almost a year old and I've yet to have a need for insulated pockets. One of our diaper bags had 5 insulated pockets. I'm not sure who needs that many! I've never used them. My son drinks bottles at room temp or even cold, and has had a warmed bottle maybe 5 times in his life. Also, If moms carry breast milk in the diaper bag it's packed in a cooler with ice packs.

LOVE the lululemon new parent backpack!!! It is more sporty looking than the cara so I don't love how it looks on me but it is still nice and sleek. It also holds up well! It actually dropped it out of the stroller when I went over a bump in the street and it still held up great! Love the opening is so big, it is so helpful to see everything you need. I did consider the larger size Caraa but it would be too big for my frame and then not look nice either lol I actually re-ordered the medium Caraa after baby's arrival to see if it would be nice have as a pump bag but the zippers and compartments were too much to fuss with and try to find anything.

I have both but I definitely say the Lululemon parent bag is better. It fits way more than the medium dagne dover indi. If you get the large dagne dover than it might fit more but the lululemon is nice that it opens wide vs I struggle to get into the dagne dover at times even though it is a big zip. I use it mainly for short coffee dates for like 2 hours but not an all day outing with baby. Dagne Dover is very cute though!
