Got some sick jams in here!
Thank you!
Can you do Joyo vs metalzone???
Groovy.
Hell yes!!! This kicks ass!!!! Great jam guys!!! Enjoying this immensely!! ✌️🎸
Haha thank you very much 🤘
I just got one last week it's great
Awesome dude, such a beautiful song
Yet another great banger 🥹💞
Wow thank you so much! 🫶
Loved the battery, sounds so good!
NGL I clicked because of the Flyers jersey. Stayed for the music. This would go HARD in the early 2000s and I love it.
Glad you liked it, man! 🤘 Go flyers
Who let Big Jay Oakerson do a guitar review? I'm gonna buy the sea glass green one
@@caseyjones5145 Good luck with it and I hope my review helped you!
Great playing Learned a new scale from this vid Awesome playing
Nice!
4:16 is my fav part, you guys are so cool ‼️ I love all electric but I only have a Nylon guitar 😹🤍
Thank you! Glad you liked the jam! Keep saving there are lots of good inexpensive guitars that sound great. I recommend a mexi made fender Strat. I put some locking tuners on mine and it sounds absolutely great. Nobody could tell the difference between mine and a American made one. Or even the Ibanez ax120 is a good guitar. Stays in tune, good frets, it’s all someone needs. The boss katana amps are great too.
What kind of tone would u guys describe this as? Not quite an SG..might get one and change the pups
Got one, don't expect a thousand dollar greatest ever. But you're gonna get a player that stays and tune and good to play and you can't beat the price.
great playing dude
Thanks!
good vibes
The threshold knob has to be turned counter clockwise if you want to hear more engagement of the effect. You're going to find out that you don't have to turn all the knobs up to have a powerful sound if you lower the threshold of the pedal fx engagement. You did the opposite in the video, which makes the pedal "wait" for higher inputs before kicking in... for example try to turn the threshold to min and the ratio to max and you'll appreciate the full limiting power of the pedal.
I disagree strongly. Was just playing through my pedal to test your idea. With the threshold down it sounds dull and quiet. Absolutely it sounds better and louder with the threshold up
Awesome man, you should check out my band Death Rattler, maybe we can get you signed
I bought the AX-50 about 20yrs ago, still plays great, and holds up well.
That’s really cool! Is it the headless bass?
@@Nov95 nope, similar guitar to yours, just half the knobs. It's actually a gio version. GAX-50. First ones had the thru body bridge, and mine's the two piece 2nd type.
Really nice jams brothers! Nice playing. Keep it up!
Sweet jams 🥁 🦅 🇺🇸 🎸
Thank you 😃
Detailed demo and decent sound, thanks bro. Do you have a video sample of the Neck pickup ?
Thank you, I don’t have a video sample of the neck pickup :/ sorry. I actually sold my Mitchell awhile ago, nothing wrong with the guitar just felt like I had too many guitars. There should be some samples on other channels I’m sure
This is fucking dope! You guys are really steady and tight. Sending serious basement vibes: th-cam.com/video/U0DSi90on84/w-d-xo.html
Good play:D It really touchGood play:D
Yes :D I like how it touch glerp:D
Great catch
They aren't the worst guitars, i'd say on par cost and quality wise as a Squier Affinity series. Requiring a setup out of the box for sure. But don't expect a standard Les Paul. It is a bolt on neck, body shape is lighter/thinner. Lacking individual volume and tone controls for each pickup, generic tuners
Good 🤙🙂
Yeah it is pretty heavy, i was thinking about sawing off the wood above the pickups and bridge.. is there any sort other way wiring that would get in the way?
I’m not sure about that, but maybe take the pickups out before you saw into it? Sorry
Heavy? Have you ever held a carved top Les Paul? This is like half the weight.
with a good vocalist you guys could do very well in the alt-rock genre. even a bit of radio pop-rock vibes. wonderful tone, wonderful playing from you both. Really dig the guitar playing style, nice semi clean tone that gets pretty dang gritty when youre picking harder. great dynamics. the drum recording is good, but compaired to the guitar recording it could use some work. anymore it seems like a trigger set or electric kit can sound just as good as a well recorded acoustic set. instead of buying cheap drum mount mics, you can buy a single nice mic to record the sound of the acoustic kit one drum at a time. find the perfect strike and have that be the triggered sound. That way you still get the natural sound of the kit in the recordings without the microphone effect of the kit sounding distant. if i still had 2 arms, id be all over a roland electric kit for recording. with how easy IRs have made recording guitar, a home recording artist would have a very hard time getting similar quality with mics from an acoustic kit. id bet for the majority, spending $400 on a cheap alesis kit would get them further than buying $400 in mics. im not sure what they use for overheads but when i was recording guitar i used a shure sm57... 2 of those for overheads doesnt leave much extra! you have no idea how long i tried to get a decent recorded guitar tone... mic position and mic combos and cabs and isolation boxes... then i plugged into the preamp out on my 6505 and bango, way better tone instantly! the axe-fx II was the hot shit when i lost my arm, never got to try one but holy crap..... the cleans ive heard would embarrass most fenders, and the high gain was Dual Rec/Engl Powerball qualty. i cant imagine what the modern versions are capable of great job, keep it up!
What an amazing, honest and thoughtful comment!! I have been thinking it would be cool to collab with a vocalist. I think a female vocalist would be cool. Me and Brian do the best we can with the drum sound. 95% of my guitar tones are stock GarageBand plugins, and I use compressor and EQ presets (GarageBand also). Electric kits are very good. With a nice one of those his drums would sound better without spending a fortune on mics and other gear. We use what we have and make the best of it. Going to a professional studio would be the route that I would take if we get a vocalist to do an album/EP. I appreciate your suggestions! We’ll see what happens. For now me and Brian will keep cranking out the jams! I have a “Just For Fun” mindset with my channel but that doesn’t mean I’m going to half ass my music. Thank you for watching/listening and for your thoughts/opinions 👍🎸 🥁
Hi Chris. You guys are great!
Thank you!
Really nice riff
I just got my blue one today..It sounds amazing! Action is decent, tone is great, and I play it through a 25W Gamma amp. (if you don’t know about Gamma amps, look into them. They are amazing amps, and the 25W was only $100 at Musician’s Friend. it has a 10” speaker, and 2 channels, and the 2nd channel has 4 distortion levels that sound better than my Marshall Valvestate upstairs.) I also have a Gibson SG and just wanted a 2nd guitar to just grab downstairs real quick. This Epiphone is HEAVY! Not as heavy as a full Les Paul I guess, but it’s a hunk of wood!
The blue looks cool, has some flame maple. It’s a nice guitar for a good price. I enjoy playing it. Lots of fun. Congrats 🤘
Thanks! I just can’t find a single fault with it! Everything is straight and level, I got good intonation, and was able to lower the action to near my Gibson SG! Maybe the tuners might be considered the weakest link, but they work for now. Love this guitar! @@Nov95
I agree. Mine doesn’t have anything wrong with it. Maybe some locking tuners as an upgrade but it sounds fine to me as is. We get what we pay for. $200 and it holds tuning well, it’s an Epiphone which is great. They make good guitars. I’ll check out the gamma amps
You guys are awesome!
Incredible work!
Nicely done
Fab!
Love This!
amazing!!!
Love the cowpoke! Bought mine new in black. Just cleaned it yesterday, finished the body with mothers car wax. We've seen lots of stage time. Great background jam.
It’s a unique bass. The one I play is my dads, he lets me jam on it whenever. His cowpoke needs some fixing. It needs a 3 string retainer (A string is buzzy w/o it) and it needs a saddle screw. It’ll be fixed soon hopefully and I’ll be making music with it again. Thump on
I dig it! Great tune. I really like the drums starting around 2:33.
Thanks! Rock on 🤘
Great playing man!
this is awesome man keep up the good work
Thank you so much for sharing and love the demo; Im thinking about picking this model up!
No problem. I was jammin on the epiphone tonight, sounded awesome
love the vibe
keep it up
awesome bass line! 🤘🐟
Thanks!!
I have heard some bad reviews about this guitar. 💓💓🎸.
It’s a good instrument. I’ve played it a bunch of times. It sounds great. People making bad reviews either aren’t playing guitar properly or are being too critical. Learn to tune a guitar by ear. It can help get that perfect tuning. Maybe change the strings every few months and not 5 years, that could help. Thanks for watching
@@Nov95 thank y
@@Nov95 thank you, I know Martin guitars are brilliant, and I am seriously considering getting this guitar, despite the bad reviews. 🎸💓.
@@anthonyclegg1511 I agree Martin guitars are brilliant. I would seriously doubt they make a bad guitar. I had the opportunity to play a D-35. Best sounding acoustic I’ve ever played. The chords sound so warm, it’s a beautiful sound
@@Nov95 thank you for your comments, I have a Shawn Mendes signature model and it is out of this world. 🎸💓Manchester UK.
Shitttttt, go in brother. Well done. Also, GO DOGS!

Good video but next time please get in tune first 🙏🏻
Sorry about that :/ I will try better next time. Hopefully it was enjoyable or informative in some way.
