My Motorcycle Was Stolen! - VLOG #001
VLOG #001 - June 2024 my Zero S was stolen within minuets of me getting to the O2 Arena, I managed to track, locate & recovered the bike over the following 12 hours, at times I thought I was never going to see the bike again, but I was lucky....this time! We recovered the bike if not a little worse for wear.

I don’t go to often just when I’m getting work done on the bike by the guys over at Magnet Moto. Always up for a meet up tho!

Without charge tank it's a proper set back on charge times. Is this fully unlocked on battery capacity? I think that's something Zero should stop doing.
what was the insurance like on it? got the same bike absolutely love it! stupid fast for a 125

I’m not sure I would have been as patient with the Kent police. After having my motocross bike almost stolen I know the anger I felt . I may have got emotional/ irrational and threatened the police to take the matter into my own hands with weapons potentially injuring myself and the gang to escalate it to a level where they were forced to attend . Your patience lead to a safer outcome for everyone concerned and the bike.
It’s crazy how you had to do everything to recover the bike . With all the evidence you had I imagine you had to take the law into your own hands to open the garage which puts you at risk with the law .
Good for you mate - tracker helped but you did the leg-work to retrieve your bike, well done It's sad but, as you say Police have more important (or easy targets) to bother with a theft as for the AA recovery service - its not worth the premium
Looks like the sr, whats the difference? Im fancying a sr maybe used but the reported issues with bearings going and belts snapping not to mention some battery problems is quite off putting to say the least. Whats your experience like regards reliability?
@@FlyingFun. so the S range are the 11Kw. (125cc) Version so they can be ridden on a CBT would you believe! The SR is the next step up in power otherwise it’s the same bike as far as I am aware. Regards the bearings and belt I think it all depends on how you ride it, I just changed my belt for around £240 after around 8600 miles. But I got the bike second hand with 7800 miles on the clock so again depends how he was riding the bike. I’ve not come across issues with the bearing myself, but I know Zero have had their first share of issues, so far my 2020 model seems ok. 👌
@@rJRyansWorkShopthanks, full licence so no need for the CBT version but seriously even that is fast enough. I'll be keeping an eye out for a decent used one. There are a few out there and not selling by the looks of it so might put some cheeky offers in.

Amazing isn't it... Can be driven on cbt A1 !! Same look as new SR and SRS, the rear tyre 180/55 New S looks much more substantial
It is indeed it feels completely different to ride compared to the old 2020 models.
Very different feels very planted. Not sure about the top end acceleration vs the old S, the extra weight seems to come into play

The Zero S will cost $14,995 in the USA, a significant drop from the $20,495 SR/F and $20,995 SR/S. You can buy a 1200cc Triumph Bobber for less.
I’m a big fan of the model S, especially my 2020 model, brilliant for daily commuting and nipping in and out of traffic jams!
That bobber doesn't perform and handle like these. And you can get anything for any price. For an EV you just make a choice.

@@rJRyansWorkShop London - I managed to film it too, really weird motion, it wasn't perfectly circular either, more shaped like a pear, it wasn't a donut shape as far as I could tell. It was really far, but moving quite quickly further, until it got into clouds. It was moving its pear-shaped body like a gyroscope, really irregularly. I zoomed in max, wish I had a telescope to see what tf it was... I'll get one for next time. It's the second time I see something like this. Looked nothing like a helicopter, bag, bird, airplane etc.

If you have the time, can you please be on the look out for these objects. And if you encounter them again, could you find a way to stabilize your phone while recording or lie down on your back with your arm held outward or down to your chest if possible. Also, record for as long as you can. Most people as seen here, don't record long enough. They capture a snipper and move on about their day. See if you can capture them "disappearing" or flying away. *Please,* you could produce some of the best footage here on TH-cam if you manage to capture higher quality footage!
Thanks for the advice, I don’t think a day has passed I don’t keep looking up to see what I might see again, after the. Idea ends they keep slowly moving off to the south until I could no longer see them
