yes i wrote this myself, otherwise i would declare it in the description. it's mainly just a simple 4 chords ostinato it's more about the orchestration. the moving character driven by the ostinato of the strings and woodwinds sounds like a timelapse to me, that's why it's named "chronos". thank you very much for stumbling upon my oldest pieces 😁 they may sound odd due to mixing and mastering skills, but they still came from the heart

first of all, thank you for the deep appreciation 💪 the way your talking about your analysis tells me that you're pretty much concerned about the details. i share your opinion about most of the other remixes, but i don't think they are a result of lack of skills or something.. i think they just want to freely interpret the core elements of an original work, while i'm targeting the sound and atmosphere rather than the music itself. therefore i don't change or remove any notes, maybe sometimes a bit of adjusting the arrangement or adding something to boost the groove. cause groove is what the 80s are all about 😎

haha, i'm a big fan of JRPGs, just never made it to the WA series, maybe someday. but when i think about WA music there's that strong morricone influence and i doubt that it would fit into the synthwave genre. but i have only a few tracks in mind, though haven't played it yet. who knows.. maybe i'll change my mind when playing through the first one someday 😅

@@juunjuubei You can tell that a lot of effort and work went into it. But it looks really fantastic. I've often had the video playing on the TV as background (mainly because of the music) when friends have been over and sometimes they could hardly tear themselves away from the video.

i feel you, i had far more than just a plan. i got stuck at the guitar parts for the tragic prince, before i fell into the bottom less hole of DKC retrowave 😂 let's just say i've not given up but there are so many things i'd like to do 😵‍💫😵😵‍💫
