As someone who did a good amount of healing myself, I feel a strange disconnect from the mindset of the rest of the raid. Sure, pumping the meters is cool, and you can do that as a healer depending on the fight, but healing is a completely different type of satisfaction compared to DPS or tanking. There's nothing quite like preventing a wipe by healing up an almost entire raid of depleted health bars in an "oh shit" moment.

Dangerous waters there playing with😅 I have four 80s tho,so I'm experienced in dps,heals and holding aggro and honesty..Tanking is fun and heals takes the cake for most difficult to learn but my druid,heals nasty..and dps if very fun but you have to watch where you stand bc heals get tired of that shit😅..so basically all roles are fun too me 😂😅

Step in the fire afk as dps and see if anyone notices, most likely they won't because your role is useless. You realize tank/heals are dps with more responsibility? You wouldn't have typed "tried" if you were good at it, enjoy your 40 min +2 queue

Tell it to those healers that keep doing Aoe healings just to top the meters when there are people desperately needing a single target heal 😂
