I joined a carnival back in 1991 and they just purchased a new Wipeout. I got to see it set up for the first time and oh my god, the diamond deck was a mirror shine! An amazing sight! I was one of the first people to ride it before we opened the next day for customers. Great ride.

OMG the Skywheel ride, a.k.a King of the Midway. Sad there isn't too many left on the carnival circuit. Last rode one in 1992 😢. Hopefully will get to see one again. If anyone knows which carnivals still have one or if there is a fixed ride somewhere please let me know.

Meaningless factoid: the placard at 5:15 has 'Under Armour' spelled wrong, with no 'U'! Seems like a really nice mall!

i went on this at yuba sutter fair california, but it was purple and silver lol. make sure you bend your knees and have your back all the way on the seat or else you wont be able to feel your legs after

Unbelievable! During my years working for a show on the west coast in the 70's this ride was my motivation and life. I would often (and still do) dream about how I would make my Toboggan stand out. Then I came across this video. OMG! It is exactly the same. I am blown away. Your sharing of this beauty has brought back more than memories I cant explain. This ride and video will be in my heart, mind and soul as long as I am alive. Thank You for sharing it with me and the world. Remember Life isn't a Chance...It's a Adventure!!

That is gorgeously maintained. Wow.

...this ride is actually uncomfortable. The straight up start is scary ( i thought, what if the chain pulling this cab breaks!?) then the dizzying spiral route is too tight, suddenly being released onto this abrupt track w/very short dips that provide a whip-lash type of motion to the riders head. (Yikes). A great visual looking ride, but provides a D + enjoyment rating.
