I'm Michael Samuel (b. 1993), and I'm a singer/guitarist/musician from Sydney, Australia.
This channel currently showcases my own solo acoustic takes on full-length classic albums in rock n roll, mostly by my #1 idol Bruce Springsteen, plus other performance covers I did in the past (inc. my final recital at college in 2014).
Right now, I'm performing in 2x separate bands: a covers outfit called RECOVERY BAND (playing the RSL circuit around NSW), plus an originals rock band called MASS LANDING (mostly pubs around Sydney).
Plus, I've played wth MONO (2007-2015), 'Desperado - The Eagles Show' (Dec 2014-May 2015), and 'A Boy Named (Johnny) Cash' starring Monty Cotton (Jan. 2016).

R.I.P. Adele Springsteen (1925-2024) - "THE WISH"

Today I pay tribute to my hero Bruce Springsteen's mother, Adele Ann (Zerilli) Springsteen, who sadly died on January 31st 2024 at 98 years of age. This song (an outtake from the Tunnel Of Love sessions in 1987), was Bruce's salute to his mother, and a perfect summation of how much an influence she was on him (see and hear his Broadway show for his own perspective). Rest in Peace, Adele.

On Saturday 7th October 2023, I witnessed KISS play their last ever Australian concert at Sydney's Accor Stadium, with professionally-done makeup on. Here's what I filmed as soon as I got home at about 1:15am, before I started washing the makeup off. This is KISS' signature hit ballad "Beth" (originally written by Bob Erin, Stan Penridge & Peter Criss) from their masterpiece 1976 album DESTROYER.
