Modified flashlight for the 9th BLF OL contest: Build video of the GT4X7S
This is a short build video of my modified flashlight for the 9th BLF OL contest. I called it the GT4X7S. It is a modified Astrolux MF04S with a Lumintop GT4 reflector and four dedomed XHP70 leds. In this video I would like to show a few details of the building process and the finished flashlight.

In this video I would like to show the SP33 V3.0, a bright allround flashlight using a 26650 battery and the powerful 3V XHP50.2 led. The battery can be charged internally with USB C, also with a power bank. The user interface is simple with all great shortcuts and ramping. The SP33 V3.0 is floody but has some throw as well. The 21700 battery doesnt work with this flash light it’s false advertising. I got that battery and although it goes inside but the back cover does not close because the battery is too large. The only battery that works for this is 18650.

These are nicely structured pictures, mostly black/white, with items well arranged. Pleases the eye and soothes sore souls. A good design.
Just ordered one today. It’s a long journey from Shenzhen, 🇨🇳 China but it’s worth it. SOFIRN is the Torche name that isn’t a household name ...yet. Nobody in the industry builds a torch with the quality for the incredibly reasonable amount they ask for there extremely wide array of product. SOFIRN makes a flashlight (there I said it) with more Bang for the buck than anyone in the business. Try one, you’ll like it.

New sub! So you can't get the light to memorize a mode? It won't stay in high or go right to it?
Thank you for your subscription. No, the WT01 does not have mode memory. It always starts on Turbo and you need to cycle through all four modes to turn the flashlight off. A short click changes the modes, five short clicks to turn the flashlight off. Double click does nothing, it only brings you two modes further. A long click goes to Strobe and SOS.

This is more likely to be a thrower, flood or balanced
I would consider the SP33 V3.0 a flooder. Depending on your requirements you could also call it a balanced beam. If you use it at the highest setting you can see maybe 200m far but it gets hot fast. With the rather big XHP50.2 in an OP reflector there is not much throw to be expected.
