It would be better if it went more like this: It's like if you have a sandwich that seems a bit off, go into the kitchen to see how it was made and figure out why it doesn't taste quite right. When you get in the kitchen, you see it's a complete mess. There's moldy food in the fridge, the mayo is expired, the cheese isn't kept cold, etc. I'm an ex-Christian and didn't just "have a bad experience" and give it up. I read the Bible and learned the history of the church. The more I learned, the more I realized the Bible was just another "holy" book that was written by men with no god involved.
