Trek up Flat-Top Mountain, Getting Stuck & Rescue
Last week I was at a friends campout in the NV high desert near Goldfield & Tonopah. First part is heading from Gemfield (mine real gems and rocks for yourself there) up to the top of Flat-Top mountain, then driving around an old quarry. Second part is on another day, a friend and I went for a trip but accidentally drove into a Ravine and got stuck. Luckily had signal, luckily 2 members of our group are experts in this area and our camp host knew people in down with excavators that could get us out. That was lucky lucky lucky!

Utah Roadtrip - Christmas 2022

For Xmas this year bear and I decided to do a roadtrip stopping at every National Park in Utah. I wanted to video the trip again, and improve my game from the last adventure (Thanksgiving 2022). From basic things to using an actual tripod with a video head, to doing exposure better, to taking multiple shots. There's still a lot of room for improvement, but I think you'll enjoy the result! We just got home from our road trip to Surrey (no video available I’m afraid) so that we could cast it onto our 4K telly. Super itinerary and good time of year to do it - I guess you take a few diversions but have the roads to yourselves. We’ll shot, nice editing and I liked the soundtrack. We enjoyed a few of the locations that we remembered from our trip in ‘96 too.
