We are Being lied to about our food, but getting told you can live to 156 or 256 😂. What a world we live in.
Geez Darrell so you traded your wife for the farm. Nice work.
Does he report to a board of investors in NYC?
Wise words I heard once,"owe the bank a million...thats your problem, owe the bank 100million....that's the banks problem"!!!
So good to see a podcast about Monette Farms, an example of a great, well managed company. I have been involved in large operations in Europe, great to see the model happening here in SK. I'm getting pretty sick of the criticism that goes on on social media regarding the growth of Monette Farms. Good fortune in the future, you will get to all the goals that you set yourselves.
Need a part 2 and 3.
Agreed, the most famous/infamous farm in Western Canada, maybe North America. Lot's of story left to tell.
Heard you boys wer filming season 2 of the show in Smithville!!! And Jesse is getting hitched at White Iron Ridge in the Ville. I guess $18k for the weekend fee ain’t no issue. What’s the date, I’ll see if I’m free.😊
Good pod !
Great soundbite from John, referring to rate of innovation, response and change in Canada, "Speed is entirely up to us, we set our own speed limit."
The McBees are a bunch of russian backed thieves
One point you fellas keep forgetting is that it was the companies that locked the workers out. There is a massive difference between the union going on strike and the multi billion dollar corporations that take your money to move your goods that stop the flow of goods. CN and CPKC are worse than the Union ever thought of being. They have the monopoly for moving your grain and are more than likely overcharging you tremendously to move your products.
Are you going to post the posdcast from the Farm Show?
We are! Stay tuned, it will come out in the next couple of weeks.
Will be released once all the editing is complete; should be next couple weeks.
Enjoying your podcast and the unique approach to growth and project management. We are a 20,000 acre operation here in Georgia USA. Would be interested in hearing some more comments on how you are analyzing machine data and equipment purchases.
So let's forsay he wants to go back to farming can he go back and regain what was once his? Jw if the deal he still owns the land but they just fsrm it. Seems like the man misses farming. Also I miss seeing the red equipment on the farm 12 case combines was crazy.
what a shithole canada is
Great 1st episode. Like that you are inspired by Kelce brothers. Quite often, people in policy or politics aren’t aware of day to day challenges faced by farmers. It is even worse when it comes to consumer ( average Canadians). With agri-food needing more and more youth to get engaged in the sector, please share your thoughts on how we could tackle it to ensure our value chains are sustainable for the future.
