Trent Johnson is a Canadian animator, director, writer, and musician.
Born in 1989 in British Columbia, Canada, Trent was raised just outside of Vancouver. Trent grew up in a musical family. Trent's father is an established musician, Trent's grandfather and uncle, both in hall of fame's in multiple organizations in country music, it was apparent that Trent himself would become an established Drummer in the Country Rock Genre, with Multiple nominations under his belt at the British Columbia Country Music Association Awards.
When Trent's brother/music business partner passed away in 2018, Trent stepped away from music to pursue animation. While using contacts he made through music, Trent started animating music videos for various artists, with one getting a nomination for video of the year at the British Columbia Country Music Awards.
Still relatively new to animation, Trent hopes he can keep improving to keep the workflow coming.
