Just put a turbo on the MB and also change the final drive gear into a low ratio to achieve higher speed while the rpms are low. On the Hiace 3.0, just remap it to deactivate its speed limiter (All 3.0 Hiace have speed limiters coded in the ECU programmed to limit its top speed to 160kph), plus a performance boost and you're good. You can also change the final drive gear into a low ratio one because it's still a high ratio gear but still higher than the MB.
