No. He has not restored my lost years. Started when I was 9, now 78. Broken hearted. My dream has died years ago. I think too many people misquote the Bible and give people false hope. I STILL hve big problems which still happen, and I can't do any more to help myself. Why is there never an end to my distress. Yes I am alone and I believe that is why I suffer so many attacks. He has NOT prospered me and my future has no purpose. I hve surrendered so often but nothing happens. I'm sick of Bibical false promises. They are not for all of us. Sick of listening to this. No more for me.

The repeating story of my life is working towards a goal and getting a few steps from the finish line only to have an unforeseen event destroy everything. The worst was success beyond any dream I could have, and in a moment having investors buy the company and throw all of us out. The latest is spending my life doing everything to be the best, from continuous study, education, adhering to mentors, taking on multiple projects and becoming the best, only to be laid off for being over 50 years old. What was His purpose in all of this wasted effort and wasted life? I hope He means well, and not that I'm simply not in His plans at all. I do see I was trying and doing, and His way is grace. Time is running out though.

There is love all around us that no human can give us, The beauty of nature,,sitting in the park or talking a long walk ,look at the birds,all flying around,the playgrounds when no one isn't here but you, you will see all that love that you think you are missing, Oh yea I have capture it for you all on Google maps, yes. the beauty of jesus,, Animals,flowers,all.a part of God's love when there is nothing but you,He gave it to you, so that soon you will no that human attraction soon to come ,getting you ready for all that you cannot not even see ask or think no matter what you have been through in life,because ,you never give up because joy comes on the morning,He didn't say what morning, so keep going out there sightseeing and embracing all that beautiful nature.

The reference to Job is troublesome. God allows Job to lose everything because of a bet with Satan. He then rewards Job with more children than he had. Who would feel blessed if God permits two children to be taken from us as if they were pawns in a cosmic chess game but then gives us three or four?

I am loved deeply by God. I’ve been let down betrayed and suffered chasing after insecure and unloving people people can never fill the hole that is inside of you. Only Christ can do that.

As much as I love these ideas, I know so many stories of people with a strong faith who were *not* saved or restored, it makes me wonder if this is really true, or if I am missing a point. I am suffering from chronic illness and would love to believe this but all these examples of cases where it did not “work out“ are making it hard for me to believe… Interested in how other people see this!

I spent most of my life chasing the love of a man. At 65 years old I accepted that I would never know that love. In my isolation I was able to find something far better. I learned to love myself. It's the best thing I ever did for myself.
