Your quilts are beautiful! What size seam allowance do you use?
Thank you! Generally I use a fat 1/4” SA. sometimes I go to 3/8 depending on the fabric
I do not believe there is help for us. I think it would be called A Quilters Retreat if there was!!!😂😂😂
I feel your pain. I have WAY too much fabric- way too many patterns!
I must belong to your same club
I don’t even use patterns half the time! 🤷♀️
I know how it is..lol
Is it weird that I just like to read them?!?
Thank you for knowing that it hard to cut up some of these clothes. I make baby memory quilts, but I am trying to start my son's. He passed away in 2020. I want to use as much of his clothes as I can, so not wasting any
I use every scrap! I make little prayer quilts until it’s all used up!
Please include ME on the list ! I have printed, bought, copied, did the math, on Soo many patterns. My iPad is full of them. My PHOTOS aren’t of family, they are of guilt patterns ! How can I stop this madness !?
Right?!?
Great job - I purchased this pattern then I was so pleased that I found another one with a face - I can’t wait to start to build my Rosie.
I saw the one with the face after I got this one… probably going to make that one too!!
Thus, it looks amazing. Can't wait to see it completed, your talents are beyond my newbie quilter leave me in awe
Truly it’s the pattern!!! I’m not that talented. Thank you for your kind words. 🥰
But you joined late and didn’t win WW2. Other countries won not you.
I can't find the pattern.

You have florals, I have dots in all colors 😂
I have dots too!!! 😂
My brother designed me a T-shirt with Rosie when I was making 100’s of masks.
I love that!!!! Did you make a t-shirt quilt with the shirt?!? 🤗😂
@@thecheekyquilters yes! I made 3. He’s a graphic designer and was able to design it. I then pressed it on the shirts.
@@thecheekyquilters no. Haha but I should!!!
My husband bought me a sign for the door to my quilting studio that reads “WARNING! Quilter inside is ripping out seams. Enter at your own risk.” I smile every time I walk in the room. 😂
I love that!!!!
Lovely combination of fabric and teacups! Much better to use them as pincushions than sitting in a cupboard. 💙🎉💙
Thank you!!😊
I used to live in Lake Charles for about 20 years.
Not far from the shop!!!
Very cute Amber!
Thank you!!
When I made some, I used E600. It is strong and tries clear.
I love E6000…. The duct tape of crafting! 😉
Cute!
Thank you!!!😊
Great video! Glad we got to see the parade🎉🎉
I like it. Will prevent you from ruining your cloths by forgetting to put up the iron for 3 seconds
Oh does he use like a regular electric iron or does he like to use one of those old-fashioned ones that you put in the fire?
😆 he did mention how his grandmother had to put hers in the fire!!
Beautifully done.
Thank you!!! 😊
We all do that😂😂
😂😂
I just made my first t-shirt quilt for my grandson’s college graduation. I really liked the ShapeFlex SF101 stabilizer because it is woven for more stability. Works great for all t-shirts, thin silky-like jerseys, baseball jerseys and even football jerseys with the holes. ❤️
Thank you! 😊
I need to be on the magic list too
You are amazing ❤
Thank you Mimi!!!!
Love your quilt. Can't wait to get a pattern!
Thank you! 😊
Looks like a great party 😊 Very pretty.
The only thing missing was the champagne! 😂
You are not alone
It's an entirely different addiction from the fabric addiction! :O
I need to officially name my machine after my Granny! Sweet idea!
Yes!!
Love Love Love this video. A beautiful story from a beautiful person! ❤ From TessaRenee'
I knew you would!!
Hey Girlfriend! I thought the project was cute. You had me at that 🥂! Do you sell these at markets? I'm trying to find new ideas for an Arts n Ideas festival.
Hey! I only sold 1… but I think it was the market. I’m making more for an October market hoping for better results this time.
@@thecheekyquilters Thank you for your reply. I'm trying for October as well. We have time to prep! 🤞🏾 I'll come back and check on you and let you know how I did. ❤️
@TheMarvelousBeautyChannel1 yes! Please let me know how you do.
There are places in our hearts that must heal some in order to progress. You’re getting there. (((Hugs)))
Awesome!!!
Thank you!! I’m actually going back to Vegas this week and looking forward to re-visiting my favorite shops!!!!
I love it. I wanted the yellow one and I finally got it three years ago using a discount coupon. I love mine. The fact that you don’t need to lift it to set it up is amazing! If you get a silicone mat for your black and decker iron you will not need to lift it to set it up. Husband’s review is priceless! 😂😂😂 my husband just said wow! ~Martha 😊
I remember a friend of mine painting some fleur de li through paint on factory
I enjoyed your video. I loved your left over pieces border idea. My hardest part is figuring out the size to cut the shirt and placement. Do you have any tips?
Hi Laurel! Im so glad you asked! have a video on that exact thing. Check out my channel for tips and tricks on making t-shirt quilts.
Now that I’m looking- I don’t have a video on that exact topic. I should!! Stay tuned
Love!
It needs binding!!
That’s cool
Thank you!!
That's so sweet!
Thank you!
Omg girl! Now I want one. I don't ever put water in my irons.
I love it!!
Love it!!
Thank you!!😊
I’ve heard the same thing about the water. It’s amazing how different people’s stories are 🥴 anyway…I think using bottled water makes sense because we have very hard water in Florida and it destroys pipes, etc.
I know people who spray water from a bottle rather than putting into the iron too.
I want one!!!!!
Get one!!!
But Why?? Love it.
More people should watch your videos! I think you are inspiring!!
Thank you!!!
The quilt looks great, but poor Baby.
Haha poor Baby
Wow “A”! So cool!
Thanks! 😄
Hey, your quilt turned out super pretty! Sister I’m one that you can talk all day long about wonky blocks 😂 I’m the worlds worse, but I’m not giving up. I’ll get there one day! Well maybe 😂 Good job! Let us know what you do with all your wonky’s. It may give me a good idea to use all mine. 😜
Thank you!! This was definitely a learning experience ❤️ I’ll be posting a video with the wonky blocks soon!!
