I actually no longer use Gressa’s products. I didn’t know they came out with a concealer, but I do remember her testing them years ago, and they looked nice back then!

@@kailasplace3566 Unless it's personal I would love to know why you don't use Gressa anymore. I am always interested in why people stop using cosmetics they once liked / loved. We always know why people start and keep using a product, but then the products fade off their radar and as followers don't know why they disappeared from someones kit. I know there has been controversy with the brand and obviously lots of new releases from other brands. As you can guess, I am a general fan of fails videos because they are sometimes more insightful about packaging, colors & formulations etc. Anyway just being curious.

D. Gomez I do appreciate that actually, because that is an important factor in products… why someone stops using, that no one actually talks about! So I won’t go into specifics, but there were a lot of posts made on their Instagram page a few years ago that enabled a lot of transphobic, homophobic, and hateful comments. I have a lot of friends in the lgbtq community and the comments that I read were thoroughly disgusting. The owner and I were “friends” at the time and we had a conversation about how damaging those posts were, but they just kept encouraging the comments and posting more. So after a few additional posts and dm’s I just couldn’t continue seeing or supporting that behavior. It was really sad because I loved their products and had become friends with her and her husband and was a big supporter of both of their brands. But I just couldn’t support that anymore…

This collection was definitely more creamy than the older versions, but still dries down once applied.

I haven’t. I actually no longer use Gressa’s products. But I know the highlighter style lumieres are pretty sheer, but pigmented at the same time if that makes sense? I also used to use the big bottle highlighter to lighten the foundation when I used it though.

@@kailasplace3566 Thanks for the reply! I’ll definitely try mixing in the highlighter. This new Layla is white/silver but there aren’t any swatches online so I can’t tell how pigmented it is. I do know what you mean about the pinky lumieres. Why don’t you use Gressa anymore?

Yeah, I loved the highlighter! It was beautiful, and I used it daily when I used their products. I don’t currently use them anymore as I had a falling out with the brand owner, and we are no longer friends. But I wish the best for them! Their products are really great!

I imagine it must be a significant falling out to make you stop using good products you like.

Hi Jen!! Omg I LOVE my VH backpack! It is super lightweight even though I have it stuffed with all my essentials. I do have one scratch on it somehow, even though it’s supposed to be scratch proof… but otherwise the rest of the bag looks fine, and I’ve been using it daily since this video. My only complaint is sometimes the bag opens when I go to take it off, because of the strap placement. It’s not all the time but it has happened enough to be semi annoying. But honestly I love this backpack. It’s my favorite of all the VH bags I have! I have the small bucket, and also love that, but there’s nothing keeping it closed, it’s just an open hole haha!

Love ya girlie! Lol yeah the CT bronzer…. I really wanted to love it but the more I wore it the more I stopped liking it, color alone! Texture loved it, but the color just threw me off. I’ve heard the foundation pulls weird in the shades too. So I’ve stayed away from it. So that’s what I had read about k18 as well! And when I talked to my stylist about it, she had said it could potentially be damaging for people following that, including my hair because it is so bleached and porous. And what’s been happening on tiktok with olaplex! I’ve seen SO many videos of people who have talked about using the olaplex shampoo and conditioner daily and their hair is ruined. Most of them had virgin hair or hadn’t processed it much at all. I feel like for us it’s ok because we are bleached but for people with virgin hair it’s damaging because their hair doesn’t need the extra “strength”… I donno, it’s really weird! I feel like there’s so many different views on both lines! I’m like “I just don’t want to damage my hair further….” Oh yeah, and I think you might like the Tarte Juicy Lips! A little goes a long way! They are suuuuper glossy but not sticky at all! I def want to get more!

Oh no! That’s a bummer neither worked for you. Yeah, the more I wore Medium, the more I didn’t like the color. It is the same with the Chanel bronzer, it’s advertised as “universal” but it pulls so orange on so many skin tones. But, like you said, there are so many bronzers to choose from! I did really enjoy the feeling of it though, I’ll miss that LOLOL
