Follow me on my journey throughout my years of skateboarding! I try to upload every week and bring you along on my challenges, trick battles, practices, and things I learned!
Ankle Recovery
If you've seen my last video, you saw that I was in pain after a landing a boneless down a drop.
Well that had more long term effect than I expected. Still not at 100% but if I avoid impact, it's okay.
Also, I have a new deck (Plan B 9"), new shoes, and new bushings for my trucks.

The video became a little short, because I was battling two tricks, that I didn't land (stay tuned!). Those were the final sessions with these shoes and this absolutely lovely deck! Consistency!
This week was all in the name of consistency and trying to get a weekly goal. My goal of the week was to get a Pop Shove It to 50-50 Grind Nollie Shove It out. Glad I landed it, though it was very slow, haha. Outside of that, I tried to get more consistent by repetition and doing tricks in a line. 00:00 50-50 Practice 00:11 Pop Shove Its 00:19 Pop Shove It to 50-50 Practice 1 00:36 Slappy Noses...

I went skating at two different parks the past two weeks, because I wasn't at home. I went skating there every other day. This is the footage I've got! So glad, I've landed (sketchy) Fakie Bigflips! 00:00 Day 1 00:09 Day 2 00:43 Day 3 01:18 Day 4 01:54 Day 5 02:16 Day 6

This week, I've challenged myself to do a Pop Shove It to 50-50 Grind, do something off that "kicker" ramp, learn Nollie to 50-50 Grinds, take part in FD Skate's challenge, and get a little creative again. 00:00 Preperation 00:36 Pop Shove It to 50-50 02:18 Talking about the trick 04:33 Ledge BS Boardslide 04:42 Consitency Practice 05:12 Spinning into Bank 05:35 Slappy Noseslide to Nollie Shove...
Skating my OLD 9" Setup

After getting more time on the skateboard in again, I had the urge to step on my old setup again. It's a 9 inch deck with Indiependent Trucks. Skating again after a 2 (and a half) Year Skateboarding Break
Sometimes you just lose it. That drive, that spark. I've had major life changes in 2022 and somehow skateboarding became less of a thing for me during that time and as a result I didn't step on my newly set up board for two and a half years. However, now I have that feeling again, you know which one I'm talking about. The one where you're excited to go to the park, grip thumb, sore muscles, pai...
New Deck Setup
Today I set up the skateboard deck that I bought yesterday. It's a Trap Skateboards deck with Bullet Griptape. On the bottom, I'm rocking Krux Trucks, Independent Bearings, Pig Riser Pads, and Ricta Clouds.

Welcome to my best of 2021 video! I started doing the best of 20XX videos way back in 2015 when I created my channel. So these kinds of videos are like a yearly holiday tradition on my channel. I hope you've enjoyed this year and this year's content. Let's make it even better next year. Happy holidays! Check out my website: www.skatepunk.eu/
Days Like These

What happens when you want to skate so badly that even though the entire skatepark is wet or covered in snow, you still go there? You'll get a relatively terrible session. At least I got some skating in. Next time will be better. I guess. CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE: www.skatepunk.eu/ 0:00 Intro 1:38 Skating
Skatepark Brooming
As seen in the last video, this park was full of leafs on the ground. We spontaneously took the next best broom we could find around there (it wasn't a good one) and started to take care of the park. 0:00 Intro 1:31 Ledge practice 2:25 Flatground practice 3:21 Dark Trickery CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE: www.skatepunk.eu/
Cold Weather, Skate Fever

IT'S BEEN A WHILE! Today I went for the first real session in what feels like an eternity. I didn't even skate that long, (since it's getting dark very early) but I still feel my muscles. There's definitely more to come in the near future! CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE: www.skatepunk.eu/

OUR NEW LOCAL SKATEPARK IS FINALLY OPEN!
Ankles are weird, it took ages for mine to feel OK. Glad you are out skating again though! I like the skill appropriate trick battle, I did one where I had to get FS 180 and my friend had to get varial flip 😂
I wish we could protect ankles more. It's that competitive spirit that sometimes makes you stick to your tricks and actually land them. Can be used on any tricks! :D
I’m recovering from a rolled ankle last Monday. Might not be able to skate until NEXT weekend depending. Oh well Good job on your tricks! Sehr toll!
Ouch! Get well soon! Thank you!
Your buddy seems like a real cool and handsome guy, keep it up!
Couldn't disagree more
Being hurt sucks. Heal up quickly! 👍
Yes it does! I'll try 😄
Those varial flips look good imo! I am struggling with that damn trick every session! For me, that is the scariest trick I know. I end up in promo soo often! 😅
Thank you! To me, they are less scary than a normal Kickflip. It feels like, they work well because I don't pop them in the Pop Shove It way, but I scoop the board with my toes to initiate the Kickflip motion. That's why you don't hear the pop on some of my Varial Flips.
Shuv to 5050s are great and so are your kickflips!
Thank you!!
nice skating bro
Thank you!
Richtig cool !!!
Vielen lieben Dank :)
Great work on the shuv to 5050, and nice to see you doing the FD skate challenge!
@@DadLeisureSkateboarding Thank you! I thought I'd give it a try 😄

That didn't even cross my mind 🤦♂️ Thanks for pointing it out! Will do next time.
You got the trick down quickly! Well done! 👌
Thanks! 😃
Nice work, your style reminds me of SKate Oasis if you are familiar with his videos 😃
Thank you! No, I don't know him, but I'll check him out!
Dude !!!! so cool - really loved these deck dancing tricks on the bank !!!! Killing it
Thank you! They're quite fun! I wonder what sort of variations my mind will come up with in the future, haha.
@@FirstPersonSkater can’t wait to see what you come up with!!!
I also need to get more pop in my pop shuvits! Your pop looked really good! 👌
Thanks! I want to get them real good, a proper popped Shove It looks and feels so nice!
Boneless is huge 😮 nice bag of tricks great work
Thanks! Boneless is kind of my thing 😄 I just love that trick!
Thats awesome !!! Life happens, cool you found your way back on your board 🙌🏼 looks like you’re killing it even after taking the break !
Thank you for the kind words, it's really motivating to get that kind of feedback!
i also took a good 2yr break but i tried to get back into it a couple days ago and i was able to relearn ollie, shuv it and heelflip. ill go for 180s and kickflip now. nice vid
Thank you! Definitely need to grind that dust off of the muscle memory first.
Heees back
Yeah!
Thanks for the review!
I just learned this last night. Been google forever for the name of this trick!
thanks helped me alot
Yes! Thanks! Thrash hard

Aye! Glad to see you around again!

okayyyyy letsgo
The sounds are great 🔥🔥🔥
It's addictive
Great channel new sub here!!!!🔥🔥
Thank you!
Great pop shuvits! Keep it up🔥
Thank you!
Nice to know I'm not the only stubborn skater who refuses to give in when the weather/conditions just aren't favourable lol 😆 great video 👍 keep shredding despite the snow, maybe indoors or a snowskate video?! One love from the UK 🇬🇧 ❤
I don't have an option to skate indoor here. I want to do a snowskate video (did one a few years back) but the snow didn't stay here ☹️
@@FirstPersonSkater snowskating is awesome, it rarely snows where I live in the UK but also the winter (and the rest of the year!) are pretty cold n wet, spring on its way soon hopefully, sending positive vibes, keep shredding <3
nice job Skating where you could.
Thanks!
Nice to see you skate brian! Going to work in a skiresort this winter and will be gone from skate untill may, hope I don't lose the passion!
Great to see you commenting again! I bet you'll be hyped to skate again once the sun starts to heat up Sweden.
You got back into your flow pretty quick, always takes me a few sessions to get my usual tricks back after a break! And you've got that boneless dialled in real nice! 🔥
Ay thanks! The basics worked but I didn't feel too confident in them. Weird to explain but I'm sure you know what I mean. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@FirstPersonSkater I know exactly what you mean! Just had a quick 15 min session today which was the first time I'd stood on a board in almost a month! Everything felt so weird! 😂
Nice dude!
Thanks!
good session... polishing the basics is always good. Looking forward to some snow skating action.
Oh for sure! I hope to get some in too! It's been 4 years without it now and we don't really have snowy winters (anymore, thanks climate change). I'm on the lookout on my weather app every winter and highly anticipate that snowflake icon.
@@FirstPersonSkater jump on a flight and come to Nice. We are only 45 min from the nearest ski resort 👊
@@RonaldoBeatles Once the pandemic situation has calmed down, I'll make sure to come!
That box/ledge that you did 50-50s on looked to be the perfect height for practice! Stationary nose manual eh? That is suuuper difficult! Good video!
The only downside to that ledge is that the edges are round instead of squared off. If the latter was the case, it would be the perfect ledge! Thanks!
if cold is fun you would freakin love it here ;)
Haha, very true Palen! xD
I've actually tried to plan a trip with my brother to Umeå back in 2017 but he bailed out of it. I know that I would 😉
@@FirstPersonSkater I was a really fat boi back then <3
I was in touch with Ivar back then, miss him 😢
@@FirstPersonSkater leave him a line! Hed appreciate it 😄
New sub broski
Thank you!
Happy go skate day. It ended up raining by me that day. Some nice 5050s and boardslides.
Aw man what a bummer! Thanks!
I like a nice roll around the park, with a few mannys and ollies thrown in to check my knees 😂 then it’s front 180s for sure as my got to although back 180 Nollie is joining them now as another go to.
Sounds great!
Those axle stalls look awesome. One of my got to tricks are ollies, shuvits, 5050s, and boardslides. Feeble stall for quarter pipe or mini ramp.
Sounds good and close to what I do! Thanks!
I know I'm warm enough when I land a decent Noseslide.
Sounds like a good indicator.
It depends in the day but my favorite tricks, fs flip, hardflip, tre. Other times, nollie heel, impossible, kickflips
Nice!
my go to: 180 no comply warmup with nollie 180s and alarmingly many shuvits. until my knee loosens up enough to let me ollie
Interesting!
great video man. dropped a sub. keep the videos coming
Thanks for the sub!
Happy go Skate day! You killed it bro the true OG of POV footage!
Thanks man! Happy Go Skateboarding Day!
Happy Go skateboarding day!
Thanks! You too!
Nice video I skate an 8inch buy I'm going to move up to an 8.25 next time I get a deck
Go for it!
No I didn’t go skating but I’m working on a very interesting project with some local kids who are learning how to skate and that itself is very rewarding. Good session Brian. 👊🏼
That is awesome! Thanks!
