I cover the songs that most people don't know about (mostly).
Feel free to give me cover suggestions for the future.
Feel free to give me cover suggestions for the future.
State Of Love And Trust - Pearl Jam (12 String Bass Cover + Tab)
Jeff Ament brought the 12 string bass to the mainstream. Such a fun song.
From 2004's Rearviewmirror (Greatest Hits 1991-2003).
From 2004's Rearviewmirror (Greatest Hits 1991-2003).
มุมมอง: 523
วีดีโอ
Tia Lupe - Alien Ant Farm (Fretless Bass Cover + Tab)
มุมมอง 1982 หลายเดือนก่อน
One of my favorite songs from a criminally underrated band. Also gave me the chance to break out the fretless. From 2003's "truANT".
Do It To Ya - TV Girl (bass cover)
มุมมอง 55ปีที่แล้ว
This song was suggested by ilovepickles273. A great example of a bass part being "in the pocket" and serving the song. If anyone has any further info (i.e. what year the album came out, who played the bass part, etc.) let me know in the comments!
Breathe - Disturbed (Bass Cover)
มุมมอง 72ปีที่แล้ว
Steve Kmak is an underrated player in my opinion. From 2002's "Believe". Tuning from low to high: G#, C#, G#, C#, F#
Friday - Joe Jackson (bass cover)
มุมมอง 1.4Kปีที่แล้ว
Another one of my favorite players. Love all the mute notes in between. From 1979's "I'm the Man".
Dropping Anchor - Jimmie's Chicken Shack (bass cover)
มุมมอง 258ปีที่แล้ว
A heavy and funky bassline from an underrated group. From 1997's "Pushing the Salmanilla Envelope".
Insane, Insane Again - The J. Geils Band (bass cover)
มุมมอง 137ปีที่แล้ว
Insane amount of movement in the verses. My wrist hurts. From 1981's "Freeze-Frame".
Are You Receiving Me? - XTC (bass cover)
มุมมอง 374ปีที่แล้ว
A cool bassline by one of my favorite players. From 1978's "Go 2".
wow great cover, only 30 subscriberss is crazy (im your 31st)
@@jumpyjag7974 thank you! It’ll only go up from here (hopefully…)
Really cool!
El flacon de recoditos
Excellent!!
I just watched a video about bass lines and immediately thought of this one from my youth. You played it really well, and I like your parents taste in music!
Thank you!
Do you think you can do For you by TV girl or Till you tell me to leave next?
I’ll check them out!
@@RollingInTheDeepTracksThanks! For you’s bass lines are groovier
THIS IS SO GOOD! i’ve been listening to tv girl for 4 years and started really paying attention to the bass lines! So groovy and unique..I’m actually considering learning to play the bass but don’t have one yet.. Any suggestions on a bass for beginners? Thank you and new subscriber!
Thank you! I would say the Squire Bronco that I’m using is perfect for a beginner due to the shorter scale length
Thank you so much for covering this song! One of my favorites. With your help, I am able to learn it. (In a slower tempo ;-) ) Thanks again!
Glad I could help!
Awesome, man 😀
Great playing and great bass
@@herpesplag4920 thank you!
fuck yeah dude
You killed it 💯 Nice tone 🙏
Bravo...
1:06 Hey tough question but do you know any way I can play that last rift on guitar
I would maybe try slowing down the video and just matching what I play in the same position on the guitar, it’ll just be an octave up in that case
@@RollingInTheDeepTracks thank you man! Great vid
What a pleasure ! Parfait Monsieur 👌
I learned both of his albums on bass when they came out. GM is the Man. Don't know how he got that tone w flats.
Me neither…to be honest, I didn’t even know he used flats!
@RollingInTheDeepTracks I read an interview w him. He used an Ibanez Jazz copy w/ flats thru a Fender bass amp. Who knows what else they did to it in the studio to get that sound.
Nice work young man! You should do up “High”. Ole boy does some sweet work in that tune.🤘🏻
Very nice! Obvs question: What is that bass?
Thank you! It’s a solid body Kala U-bass.
Nice! I thought they only did hollow..I’ll investigate
Wowzers... not only is there not a single note out of place, I really couldn't even find one note out of pocket. Really great job!
Thank you! I slaved over it haha
This makes me wanna learn it myself SO BAD!! U did an awesome job !
This is so good, awesome technique
so strange to not hear the immediate transition into monkey wrench from the album
I should've done a two for one haha
Great work!!!
Outstanding job! This song made me realize how underrated Danny Klein is.
I agree, he needs more recognition.
Wow, brilliant performance
I almost s%#t when I first heard this bass part back in the day. You nailed it perfectly in my opinion. Tone and all. Excellent job young man !
Thanks so much!!
You are a very fine bass player. No question about it.
Thank you so much!
I was always hugely impressed with Graham Maby's work with Joe Jackson and this track in particular. You played the hell out of it - absolutely nailed it. Bravo! I'm sure Mr Maby would approve.
Nice!!!!
Tight!
Fantastic work my friend! Nice playing ! Keep the covers coming!! 🎸🙂👋🏻
Thanks so much!
J'adore !! Bravo! quelle précision dans ton jeu. Une de mes ligne de basse préférées... merci de l'avoir partager.
Fart

Do you mind if I could ask where you found the tabs?
I actually managed to learn it by ear but this tab is pretty spot on. www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/foo-fighters-doll-bass-tab-s35586

Yep it's a Bronco. Glad you like it!
