DIY: Make a Quick and Easy Green-Screen
Thank you about the dryer lint. Just the info I was after!
Cool 😀
Thank you for the short tutorial, very informative. I am very excited to try this today, I actually purchased close to 200 books from my local library this year that needed to get rehomed. I feel strange cutting up a book but this is going to make such a beautiful piece this Thanksgiving holiday that I am willing to give it a try.
Anyone who has made these how many pages do you recommend the book having?
Thank youm i have a small container
Love this! I am also thinking of this for a library program and need to get the timing and details right. Recommended book size is 200-250 pages, is that actual page numbers or the number of folds?
I bet shaving cream would be fun! The clean up would be easy, too.
Wow I just had an idea! What if we make a lampshade out of it with a bigger book?
Brilliant! Thanks! Merry Christmas! 🎄
This is amazing. ❤️ Thanks for sharing.

Will it unravel if you don't sew the ends?
No sewing needed! I've thrown gloves like these in the washer and dryer multiple times with no unraveling. The only caveat is that this rule applies to machine-knit, store-bought socks. Hand-knitted items might require some tying off. Hope this helps! - Lauren
Yo Jesus is coming back soon we are in the season repent now give your life to him he's gonna come back so soon thank u love you!!!.
Mesmerizing! Just on the day when I was planning to do this, thanks so much, now off I go to find some snake skin.
Thx!
Very informative ty 👏😁

Cool
this is really cute tbh
Cute idea! Great tutorial! Thanks. Def gonna run to DG and buy me some socks to try this with.
Cute
We used the small readers digest magazines!
I remember these from the 1960's..we spray painted them gold!
Just created this for our library. Thank you for your easy to follow tutorial!
Awesome! Glad you found it helpful!
Bonjour C'est splendide ! J'ai commencé et c'est du bonheur. Merci
Woa nice
where can you find used hardback books for doing this project?
We used library discards, but look for used book sales in your area. Our library has a booksale twice a year, and you can pick up hardcover books for a couple of bucks. Goodwill might be another place to look.
what size of book is best to use and how many pages in the book?
We use typical-sized hardcover books, but you could use larger sized books like coffee-table type books, too. 200-250 pages is a good length.
Cool
So glad to hear that you are open. We miss you so much. It's not the same as actually touching the books. Josh loved seeing you show your favorites so he went to get his own favorite.: TRUCKS and more TRUCKS. Can't wait to see you in person.
That’s awesome! ❤️
I just discovered these videos. Thank you for making them :)
Yay! Glad you’re enjoying them, we’ll be adding more in the new year!
Thank you for making this video.
You’re welcome! 😁
How can I get the turkey head pattern? It doesn’t seem to be available now on site mentioned.
Both links in the description worked when we tried them today, are those the links you tried? Here’s the long version, try this: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1862/9157/files/turkeyonbookpage.pdf?11143245320477648545
This is amazing! Great job!
Wallingford Public Library Thanks, we’re really happy with the way it came out! 😁
Very creative! Way to go Cheshire Public!
Thank you!☺️
About how many pages should each book be?
We recommend a book with 200-250 pages.
Cheshire Public Library thank you!
I am enjoying the saga.
Is there an episode 1? Love Dragon and Unicorn!
Thanks! Here is the beginning of our tale (tail?): th-cam.com/video/MmdZtk1WzEY/w-d-xo.html We just created a playlist, as well. More adventures to come! 😁
Thanks Lauren, we're going to try this!
My middle school library made two of these they are awesome
PANDATHEGAMER GG , that’s awesome!!
Shankar
Thank you for this video. Ive made 5 book trees and could not think of what to decorate them with
Can the book be closed
Not without crushing the tail feathers!
I made this for my middle school library circulation desk and put it up today. The kids went nuts - thanks for the great tutorial!
That's awesome!!
Hi! I was wondering how long this project took. Trying to decide if we can so this as an adult craft at our library. Thanks!
Depends on how many tail feathers you want to make, they take the most time. The cutting and folding of the book itself probably takes a good 30-45 min. The tail would be closer to an hour, once you get the knack for rolling the feathers. (Sorry for the delay, your message didn't reach me right away!)
thanks
